I thought there were less people this time.
there were plenty of empty sections.
Not alot of cars outside.
Even got out to the highway in less than 15mins.
I hope they didn't count the staff.
I know a few pinoys who went there for the clottey fight, but didn't go this time since the experience from last time wasn't all that great and didn't want to go again.
I bought 3 tickets last fight, this time I got 6. my friends never been to the stadium so they all went.
there sure were alot of marg fans there though.
But it was sure louder whenever they have pac's face on the screen.
boos and cheer all at once makes it all louder.
Marg only gets the cheers, so not so loud.
he's actually saving money by chartering everyone instead of paying individual tickets. he has to pay for all of em neways.
not to mention, their hotel and food expenses are all paid for.
there's probably more coming not in the chartered flight.
last march there were 50+ more peeps(including more leech politicians) not in the same flight who came after.
also all expenses paid.
i know a coupla people in the group.
prolly gonna meet with them this week.
might have to request for something to get autographed without fighting thru the crowds. :p
on a serious note, can somebody please translate what pac actually said?
he's just singing a Visayan/cebuano folk song. Nothing was said about other boxers
here's the lyrics of one of the song.
I dont know the name of the other songs.
here's one that starts at 1:19
Si Pilemon, si Pilemon namasol sa kadagatan.
Nakakuha, nakakuha og isdang tambasakan.
Gibaligya, gibaligya sa merkadong guba—
Ang halin pulos kura, ang halin pulos kura,
Igo lang ipanuba.
ENGLISH:
Philemon, Philemon went to sea to catch some fish
He was able to get, to get only a small mudskipper.
He sold it, sold it at a dilapidated market
For it he got nothing much, nothing much
Just enough to buy tuba.
Tuba = locally made liquor extracted from coconut trees. it's some good stuff.
edit. here's the first song.

bought tickets for last clottey fight in section 223.
When we got there, they closed off that whole section since it was blocked by the TV tower and the temporary stands for the floor seats.
So we got moved over to 238, so we got the view for the big wide screen.
Although we had to look up a lil bit at the screen.
Havent bought tickets for this next fight yet.
I just loved how the mesicans in our section went quiet.
Section 330. there were about 100 of em and only about 20 pac fans, at least the ones cheering for pac. They were all chanting Si se puede. Of course they sat back down after pac got out of the corner and ropes and beat marg some more.
they pretty damn disrespectful too, idiots booed while the pinay sang the national anthem. I didn't hear anyone booing the mexican anthem.
also, any other fights that broke out besides the one in section 225? they had a bit of some action and both parties got kicked out. they prolly felt worse than marg after losing 50bux and not even get to watch the main fight.
Also in our section couple groups was about to get it on, twice actually, then picked another fight from another section. buncha stupid kids. An older lady event staff went over to em and scolded em like a buncha high schoolers.
oh and total attendance looked a lil less than the clottey fight. weak! I hope they'll make it better in the PPV.
all in all good fight night, got out of there in less than 15mins, prolly cuz there's less people.
