Dude a jab has to land for it to control anything.
Even if the jab didn't land, it kept Joshua on the outside doing nothing-landing nothing so how does he win the round? Quick guesstimate is that one out of every 4 jabs landed for Parker. The jabs to Joshua's body were landing. So again, how was Joshua winning rounds. Swinging at air didn't do it for me
The cards were fine. I had it 117-111 AJ.
Fight Score app has it 118-110 AJ from 476 fan cards.
Ref on the other hand was a joke.
I'm interested to know what Joshua did to win all these rounds. Parkers jab controlled the first half of the fight, he did more body work as well. It wasn't until Parkers jab activity slowed down late the Joshua was able to connect at all.
biased how? I'm not from NZ and I'm not a Wilder fan. Joshua wasn't landing anything in the middle of the fight. And I'm watching it on the big zzz 55 inch screen, not a computer screen.
I had it a draw as well. Not a whole lot of action. I saw Joshua hurt twice in rounds 5 and 11. I never saw Parker hurt. I also saw Parker land a whole lot of body shots inside. The first half of the fight was really boring, but I had Parker winning 5 of the first 6 rounds. Joshua really didn't do anything the first half of the fight except round 3. I had Joshua controlling the second half of the fight as Parkers activity slowed a bit
How can you control the distance when the other guy landed more punches, more jabs more body shots, more power shots and doubled the connect rate he hit you? You didn't need compubox to tell you jacobs couldn't land and was missing badly but the numbers just so happen to debunk everything you saying as well as anyone with 2 eyes LMAO
How’d you score the fight? Because those compubox numbers would have you believe it was damn near a shut out and even the judges didn’t score it that way, so yes, I trust my eyes
1. Parker-swing
2. Parker
3. Joshua
4. Parker-swing
5. Parker
6. Parker
7. Parker
8. Joshua
9. Joshua-swing
10. Joshua
11. Joshua
12. Joshua
I think the work to the body by Parker should win him some swing round (which the judges probably didn't give him). I saw Joshua hurt twice., rounds 11 and 5 (I think). I didn't see Parker hurt.
6-6
Those score cards were terrible
I certainly don’t subscribe to conspiracy theories lol. I saw Jacobs controlling distance, engaging up close when he wanted to for the second half of the fight. I saw Canelo backing up to the ropes rounds 8-10. I saw Canelo have problems with Jacobs in the southpaw stance. I agree that a lot of the flicking jabs didn’t seem to have much power, but to say he was only landing 1 of 4? The body work by Jacobs I thought was effective and that he probably slowed Canelo down quite a bit. Am I to believe compubox or my lying eyes? This fight ranged somewhere between 7-5 either way or 6-6
I don’t agree with the compubox stats for rounds 7-11. Watching it live, I thought Jacobs controlled those rounds with the jab. Jacobs threw a lot of “pawing and range finder” jabs, but I thought he landed at a higher percentage than 20%. Jacobs landed quite a few jabs to the body
