Well I have actually seen both of them fight many times. So i'll ask what qualities make marg better than baldi on a technical level really? They are both slow, they both have no defense, they both have good chins, there main offensive tact is to just come forward and throw alot of punches (marg more so). So really what stands out about Marg that makes him better. Honest question. You can't include the Clottey fight in the comparison because Clottey was a covering up punching bag. The numbers get skewed too much with the Clottey fight. That being said, Floyd's numbers are still great. The problem with Floyd's efficiency is that by itself the problem, he is just darn efficient, to the point that he overwhelms his opponent so much that his fights end up looking boring, too lopsided. The Oscar move was not really a catch weight, they negotiated it at 147 welterweight. Oscar thought he could get to 147 no problems and even thought if he beat Pac that he would line Hatton up at Wembley for a mega gate and ppv classic. But Oscar fukked up, came in way light, couldnt rehydrate and got his ass handed to him. Maybe if Oscar came in at 147 stripped down and rehydrated to a more natural weight he could have put a beating on Pac but it wasnt meant to be.
