doesn't deserve it? Hey the guy had a problem with the grog - he has moved towns and trainers and looked fitter than he ever has in his last fight albeit against an outclassed fighter - like horse racing - you can only beat what's in front of you at the time. To his credit he is fighting again straight away to keep active and has said he wants a crack at the title - froch has a title and i think two granite chinned punchers going toe to toe would make for a great fight...i cant argue with Kessler as an opponent either he looked **** hot last outing...
...'McClellan's trainer & family admitted that McClellan was involved with fighting pitbulls, and on one occasion had used tape to bind the jaws of a Labrador shut and allowing his pitbull dogs to kill the Labrador.'
He got his lot in the end. He can be thankful for his sister...
It's Timofey Tszyu in full - yes spelt the Ruski way I expect. Spitting image though. I used to train at same gym as Kostya till I got cleaned up by a car - boxing career over! I remember he got up me one day for drinking and smoking on the weekends. He was freshly defected from USSR after winning the 91 world amateur championship, where he beat the late Vernon Forrest, the look in his eyes was as serious as **** when he was telling me. Two people brought up in very different ways. Was the hardest trainer I ever saw in person - the guy was a machine hence being the first to unify the 140 pound division in over 40 years. Wish Tim all the best.
Nice.. havent seen someone unify that many belts along time..
...Not since Kostya Tszyu unified the 140 pnd divisions after destroying Zab Judah in the famous chicken dance fight. The WBO organisation was only 5 years old back then and their belt wasn't regarded highly but even if it was I'm pretty sure Kostya would've smashed Giovanni Ribisi and had all four.
no he didn't. Mikey lost to bud in the amateurs

Sorry my mistake - my long term memory is a bit warped since having a stroke.
Mikey beat Bud in the amateurs. Crawford has gone to the top of my pound for pound list the last two years. Who knows where Mikey would be now without the inaction. Before that he was wiping the floor with everyone - he's an awesome boxer to watch.
