The Lopez’ need to grow the fuck up and knock it off with the bullshit excuses already. Now they want pity.
Sr said Jr lost because everyone hated him and wanted him to lose because they are racist against black people.
He blamed everyone from Turki, DAZN, Eddie Hearn, social media in general and all the way to the build up to the fight for his son’s loss.
Teofimo Sr even went so far as to describing his son as very sensitive and mentally weak who cannot stand a lot of pressure. He said the final presser mentally ruined his son.
When Shakur pulled out that liquor bottle as a gift for his son to give him. He said it mentally broke Teofimo, Jr.
Which explained his son’s uneven performance in the fight. I thought his post fight comments were both classless and with poor taste.
Well this aged well! What planet are you on dude? Teo was vastly overrated. He has never fought an American soul brutha in his entire career and now we can see the reason why?
Shakur Stevenson made it look easy Saturday night, dominating Teofimo Lopez Jnr over 12 rounds at New York City?s Madison Square Garden to win a junior welterweight title.
Click Here To Read More]That goes without saying. Congratulations to Shakur Stevenson. He definitely proved that he is the cream of the crop.
Oh if only had he put the cherry on the top like Keyshawn and Shu Shu did by turning it up. I believe had Shakur did. He would have gotten Lopez out of there.
Teo wanted to give up. He looked like a broken and confused fighter who was looking for a reason to tap out but Stevenson didn’t give him one. He was just too cautious.
In any case, great performance by Shakur as he once again proved that he is still the best of the rest.
If that is true then how is Golden Boy going to do a simulcast of both Prime Video and DAZN for the Mario Barrios vs Ryan Garcia bout for the WBC’s welterweight championship?
The kid’s not ready! There are levels to this game. He is a novice opponent. Brian Norman is still young and needs more time to develop fundamentally into the sport
What are you on about? I think there is a chance Jaron stops Ortiz but that's not my point.
What I said was that Oscar should have insisted that Jaron Ennis fight at least one credible challenge at 154 before fighting him and I stand by that.
Ortiz calling Jarron into the ring was dumb, Jaron is all risk and absolutely no reward, he hasn't fought a live body at 154, doesn't have a belt and doesn't bring a fan base...
Where is the upside? So is that the reason why Vergil Ortiz is suing Golden Boy in order to back outta the fight with Jaron Ennis?
I am sorry De La Hoya. I don’t know if this is true or not but according to the rumor mill; The PBC could very well be on its way out of business.
They could use a new platform and some sponsors. I’ve heard their Prime distribution deal is about to expire by the end of the year.

I don't think it's a coincidence that he announced his retirement after Janibek popped for PEDs. I think he was definitely targeting the winner of Janibek vs Lara but that fight has evaporated and now the middleweight title picture is a mess. The IBF and WBO will likely be vacated while Adames has two mandatory challengers stacked up. Maybe in a year or two a clear #1 will have emerged at middleweight and that will motivate Crawford into taking one more fight. You know deep down it bothers him to have won belts at 135, 140, 147, 154, and 168 but not 160.
I agree. There is some truth to that. However, the real reason he will be back is for the money.
Active fighters don’t think about legacies until they have maximized their career earnings. So far, Bud Crawford has not done that.
I personally believe it’s just a ploy in order to gain leverage against Canelo at the bargaining table. Obviously he wants more money for a rematch.
He was unhappy with the terms that both Turki and Canelo were offering him so he decided to temporary call it quits.
I will never forget his fight with Loreto Garza. I remember how it made me feel so sad to see him lose and in the manner in which he lost.
It marked by far the lowest point in his pro career. He tapped out the moment he realized he was being outclassed, outmaneuvered overmatched and frustrated.
Which subsequently led to his disqualification loss.
My Lord! Please pray for Deontay Wilder. He doesn’t need to be fighting for another ten years. He doesn’t need to be fighting at all.
The man is a ruined fighter now who had never developed into a complete fighter. What’s worse is that he can no longer punch.
Given his limited amateur experience due to his late start in the sport and lack of boxing fundamentals; The man was a phenom.
He was an overachiever. He exceeded expectations. So the only thing left for him to do now is Canastota. He has had one Hell of a run and a great career.
fighting to get money is much harder than the other options that Jake had to get paid
definitely braver than most given the position he's in
rich people tend to be ussy
Jake could have just sat back and continue being only a YouTuber for $$$$
Yes, that is very true. This kid is box office. Whether us boxing fans want to admit this fact or not.
He has taken his online profile as a YouTuber and social media influencer to a whole different level.
Also, he is giving us boxing fans the fights that we want to see win or lose.
You are right. He is breath of fresh air. He has breathed life back into the sport of boxing. I don’t know whether his fights are scripted or not.
However, there is one thing that I do know. He is very charismatic. People all over the world tune in by the millions just to see him fight.
He is a great social media influencer. He almost influenced me that he was going to knock Anthony Joshua out and I believed him and I’m also a boxing fan too.
wrong again
Freddie is here with Manny as he's in pain over Floyd being vastly superior to him

have you seen this enjoy:cool:
TIMOTHY BRADLEY VS BUD CRAWFORD ICONIC SPARRING SESSIONS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5Vdb6jd138
Yes, I’ve seen it! This sparring match was a real gem and a true masterpiece. Bud gave as good as he got in this one. Even dropping Bradley in the process.
Unfortunately, boxing historians and scholars would rank Bud lower than both Money and Pac on the greatest all-time P4P list because he was from a different era.
Both Money and Pac were 20th century fighters. Both of their professional careers spun from 1995 and 1996 respectively.
Terence Crawford didn’t begin his professional career until 2008 which meant there was less competition. In addition he had no rivals.
I'd like to see Jake Paul fight again. He's good enough now to fight some of these guys in light heavy or cruiserweight (some of these prospects). He'll probably try to put himself in a contender position, and I think he brings a lot to boxing. WE NEED MORE EYES ON THE SPORT SO WE CAN GET MORE FANS. That I believe to be true. He will bring more boxing fans to the sport. Everytime he fights people always tune the fuck in. He is sports entertainment at its finest!
One can say what they will but I love the Jake Paul brand. The man is a marketing genius.
I know he got his ass whupped but he had the whole world tuning the fuck in to watch a Social media influencer and YouTuber to compete against the Heavyweight champion of the world.
He had boxing fans on the brink of losing their goddamned minds. What great brilliance? Well at least Jake Paul had me sold initially into believing that he would knock AJ out.
The guy is a great salesman.
Nah TBud sample size too small compared to Floyd
defeated 1 hall of famer maybe 2 compared to Floyd running through 9
Greatness

You are right. These type of arguments are subjective anyway because there are no right or wrong answers.
So there are no point in disputing them. One can make a case for all three. That was just my opinion.
However, I still believe that head to head Bud was the better fighter of the three.
I won’t be surprised by any outcome. I finally come to realize that fake Jake fights are heavily scripted and staged.
It’s a circus show. Why the Hell on earth does all of his fights are only eight rounds if they are legitimate? They should do at least 10.
This fight is all bullshit!
No I don’t believe this fight is staged or scripted. Jake Paul genuinely believes he could knock AJ out. It has happened before. Also, keep in my that AJ is a cherry-picked opponent who Jake Paul feels he can defeat. I can’t wait til Friday.
Bob Arum himself admitted he killed the Pacquiao vs. Crawford fight—there’s video proof of it. Stop being dishonest.
Freddie Roach didn’t like the idea of Pacquiao fighting Barrera, yet Pacquiao still beat Barrera. A coach gives advice, but the fighter makes the decisions and does the fighting.
OK fanboy! Don’t take my word for it. Take Terence Crawford’s word for it. I will tell you where to find it but I am not about to post it for you.
It’s on YouTube. Hell I’ll even time stamp it for you. Type in “Inside Terence Crawford’s Knockout Year” It’s on the Forbes channel.
At 24:23. Bud expressed his disappointment of not fighting Pac while observing him fighting lesser opponents than himself from the same stable at TopRank.
Lastly you said the fighter makes the decisions and does the fighting. I couldn’t have agreed with you more which is why Pac passed on the fight.
Look up FightHub on YouTube with host Marcos Villegas. In an interview in 2019 with Bob Arum; Arum said that he protected Pac from Crawford.
Arum was quoted as saying “It would end in serious disability for Manny, that I wouldn’t know. But as a fight it would only end one way”.
Here’s the deal. I don’t knock Pac for not taking that fight because he didn’t owe Terence that fight. As he was already a legend with nothing left to prove by age 37 or 38.
However, the fact still remains; He did indeed ducked the fight. Money May ducked Amir Khan for Marcos Maidana too.
However, it doesn’t make him any less of a boxing icon or the legend that he already is.
Bud will be back. There’s just too much money left on the table for him to quit. He’ll take a long hiatus but not retire.
Besides, he can still do it. Also, he has a lot of fight, fire and passion inside of him too.
So why would he retire now? Right now I believe he is just bored with nothing to do.

I am shocked! Deontay suggesting this fight could be scripted. Next he'll be saying his trainer drugged his water and that his ring walk costume was too heavy. If he had just stayed to: some fights have been fixed throughout history, including his 'draw' against Tyson Fury in their first fight, I wouldn't have taken my slippers off and angrily typed this post.
I don’t think AJ would be taking a dive. Matchroom wouldn’t tolerate it. However, if AJ becomes afraid like he did against Triple D. Then he just may lay down and quit. It all comes down Joshua’s mental approach to this fight.
I regress. Originally I picked Jake Paul to defeat Anthony Joshua but now I am hedging a bit and am not too sure.
If AJ doesn’t suffer another anxiety attack like he did the first time he fought in America. Then he should do just fine. The moment was just too much for him then.
However, if he does and come in too tight and tense like he did against Andy Ruiz; Then Paul will stop him by knocking him out.
You claim to be a fan, but you clearly know nothing about your fighter.
Most Pac-haters are clueless, ignorant, and dishonest.
Fyi that was Pacquiao's last fight under Top Rank.
Arum orchestrated the Pacquiao–Horn fight to cheat Manny on the judges’ cards in Australia and then line Horn up as an easy belt for his new cashcow named Terrence Crawford. It was crawford that is protected against Pacquaio
Bob Arum was found boasting about how he blocked Crawford from fighting Pacquiao. If you say I am a hater then look it up.
Even Freddie Roach said the exact same thing. What are you a hermit or something? Where have you’ve been? This is common knowledge among boxing fans.
You are behaving like you have been living under a rock for the past seven years or so.
147 most realistic scenario in which they could have fought
manny who struggles with cerebral adjusters with counter right hands gets mopped by TBud
You are absolutely right. Either this original poster is just trolling or he sincerely DKSAB..
Crawford didn’t hold back in his latest social-media post — calling out two legends and making it clear he believes he’d dominate them.
“Oscar De La Hoya said Manny Pacquiao would’ve beat me … I would have fked you Pacquiao and whoever you thought would beat me the fk up.”
The venomous attack comes just days after he was stripped of his WBC super-middleweight belt for unpaid sanctioning fees.
EASIER SAID THAN DONE. I never forget a prime crawford got wobbled by an old small gamboa, imagine what a prime pacman would gonna do to him.
Prime for prime? Oscar is running thru bud , 2 totally different fighters and clearly 2 TOTALLY different eras.
Arum said he actually killed the PAC vs. Crawford fight to protect Crawford!
Crawford is not even close to the accomplishments of these 2 legends in Boxing history.
Crawford's JEALOUSY is a powerful and destructive emotion linked to many other sins and negative behaviors like hatred, violence, and bitterness, it's not the only root of evil, its TOXIC, not a good example for young boxers.
Well did Bud Crawford lie? What he said was true. He would have fucked Pac up back then and I am fan of Pacquiao. It was the reason why Manny ducked him to fight Jeff Horn instead.
