Yeah I saw the "great" andre dirrell. he was at the top rankk gym working out. kelly pavlik happened to show up. they sparred one round and kely hurt him to the body. andre finished the round then left the ring. he didnt come back to the gym till pavlik left a week later. i wll say this though. Kelly is famous for clearing out the top rank gym when he comes to won. everyone from 154 to 190 makes a hasty exit.

Let me remind everyone to rewatch Cottos fight against Victoriano Sosa. Play extra attention tothe 3rd round. Sosa lands a single right hand that visibly hurts Cotto and sends him into retret for the rest of the round. While I do not bring this up to question Cottos ability because he obviously is a very talented fighter. My point is that if right hand from a jr lightweight hurt him Cintrons right hand puts him to sleep.

Cintron is 6' When he enters the ring his weight is anywhere from 160-164. 77" reach. All you Cotto fans need to go and rewatch the fight between Cotto and Sosa. Pay particular attention to the 3rd round where Sosa, a former Jr Lightweight and Lightweight seriously buzzed Cotto with one right hand. Cintrons right hand will end the fight. PERIOD. Cotto is a good boxer, I do not deny that. But Cintron is to much for him. I love when people say everyone is more skiled than Kermit. Hopw does he keep knocking people out? Why does he have the highest KO % of any active fighter? How did he go from amateur to world champ in 4.5 years. Pretty good for a guy with "no skill!" Lets not forget that Kermit got his top 10 ranking by knocking out a legit top 10 WW.Not to mention Teddy reid had never been knocked down in his entire career! N'dou was a good tough fighter, but he began his career at 126, and came very close to beating Cotto!
Ben Tackie had Reid down and out in the 5th round of thier fight. It was on FNF so you obviously didn't watch the fight I'm talking about. I think I have seen him down before that as well and for a guy who has as bad a chin that Reid has it sure took Cintron a while to knock him out.
Are you fucking serious??? It is a fact that tackie never knocked Reid down! Were you watching the fight with your eyes closed? Anyone else in hear see the fight? We can all have different opinions about who would win between Cotto and Cintron, but what happnened and what didn't happen in the reid Tackie fight are facts because the fight already happned. Tackie never dropped Reid. In fact Reid won every round until a severely weight drained Teddy Reid punched himself outand had no energy left, and was stopped by a tackie barrage while still on his feet!

Margarito has beaten some decent fighters, but to say he destroys Cintron is a rediculous statement. Teddy Reid is not the most skilled fighter at 147, but he is by far the strongest and hardest punching WW out there besides Cintron. Just ask William Joppy and Kieth Holmes, both of whom were KO"d in sparring by Teddy Reid. Thats with 18oz gloves and head gear. Reid landed a few flush shots on Cintron and never once came close to hurting him. People may like to point out that Tackie stopped Reid on 5 rounds. Thats true, but he stopped a weight drained Teddy Reid, and even so Tackie never was able to drop him nor was anyone else in his career. Kermit is the only fighter to ever knock down Teddy Reid. Losing to much weight has a detrimental affect on stamina and the fighters ability to take a punch. For proof, just watch Corrales vs Frietas. Corrales walked through shots at 135 that would have floored him at 130. The rise in weight definately inproved Corrales' chin, and it improved Reids as well. Teddy Reid through 95,100, and 101 punches in rounds 5,6,7 respectively. Yet he lost every round and was KO'd in round 8. Teddy Reid also throws a straighter jab and right hand than Margarito yet his connect % was miserable against Cintron. So whomever said Cintron got hit alot must not have payed attention to the compu-box stats. Margarito is a good fighter, and I take nothing away from him, but he has been on the canvas before, and thats where he willfinish his fight with Cintron. Cintron spars with the best in the world "Bernard Hopkins" who was quoted on boxingtalk as saying "I have sparred with alot of fighters, this kids got the good" Cintrons straighter punches, greater physical strength, better chin, and obvious greater punching power will give him all the tools he will need to over come his supposed lack of experience. I read these boards everytime Cintron has a fight coming up, and the majority of posters pick against him yet he has KO'd everyone he has fought. He entered the top 10 by KOing a guy who was ranked in the top 10. He went through with his fight against Hicklet Lau even though he came down with the Flu while in AZ. On top of that Cintron KO'd a guy that was never stopped b4. he went into the reid fight with a bad hand and KO'd a guy with that bad hand. And as I said earlier Reid had never been off his feet b4. Did he make mistakes against Reid? YES! But anyone who knows boxing will tell you that it is in your mistakes that you learn, that you gain experience. When all is said and done, he won every round against Reid with only one round being close and got the KO over a legit top 10 WW. Cintron will KO Margarito. I hope that Margarito has as much of a lack of respect for Citnron as the people on these boards. The fight will be that much quicker then!
The only person that has knocked down Reid was Kermit Cintron. You obviously didn't watch the fight. Reid has been stopped 3 times. The only person to knock him down was Cintron. he was never floored in either of the other two fights in which he was stopped. I also found it interesting that everyone completely overlooked the fact that Cotto was hurt by a single right hand from Sosa who is a Jr Lightweight! And Ndou began his career at 126. These are facts not opinion. Cintron destroys Cotto, and so would Teddy Reid.
