Manny won because he landed more punches per round. Isn't that how fights are scored? Who ever lands the most punches per round usually wins the fight right? It's not won by Marquez looking amazing in the last round and thats about it. actually thats not how fights are scored. some judges score fights differently. but the primary criteria is clean effective punching, thats the most critical factor. the secondary criteria is defense, ring generalship, and effective aggression. if you watched both fights marquez had the most clean effective punching in most of the rounds. he usually had the better of most of the exchanges.
