Is 50 Cent ever going to be all the way broke? Probably not, because he can always somehow leverage his fame to stay afloat. Are his finances a complete mess and is he incapable of actually running a successful business operation? Abso-****ing-lutely.
He is just not as smart as people would like to think. This whole proccess will embarrass the **** out of him, the judge is just getting started.
Or..... they can call Al Haymon and tell him they want to feature their fighters on his PBC cards
That's not possible. Haymon is not going to let non-sham promoters (i.e. promoters with fighters actually under contract) use PBC, because that's keeping them alive, which would also make time-buy strategy illogical. He wants to shut them out until he's the only player left - at that point he can sign every fighter to promotional agreement with lower salaries, drop the advisor role and demand big bucks from TV networks: UFC of boxing.
The ONLY fighters who will benefit from this are those who fight now whilee PBC is burning big bucks on the loss-leader strategy for a couple of years. If it works, no fighter will have enough leverage to ask for fair compensation.
Floyd should easily add another $150m in cash, on top of the $200m in cash that he's already been able to put away.
Sounds about right. I was bored the other day and tried to do the math on Floyd's earnings, I came up with that he should have about $300-350 million in cash by now.
