nothing unprofessional about it
the man has to make a living, he was let go by one employer and so has done what a man must do to move his life foward, by finding another employer
Pacquiao or Arum was his employer, not roach
Ariza came to the Wild Card Gym looking for a job and roach let him work for free to see how he'd fit. It worked out for awhile so Roach allowed him to work there with Pac, Khan, and other fighters. Bob Arm cold give a shiiiiit who the conditioning coach is. Ariza's head swole up and thought he owned the gym so he started to think he can do what Roach does and be the cut man as well, apparently. Roachs fault for not nipping that in the bud and let it go on for a while.

No one blames him for getting another job. What's unprofessional is trashing his previous employer publicly. If Ariza fails with Rios and Garcia and gets fired, he's gonna go trash them too? That biiitch is not realizing that he's a very competitive business and a very small tight knit community. Word gets around. Let's see if he gets another big gig after he fuukks this one up. He might end up teaching the 6:30 pm aerobics class in your nearby fitness club if he doesn't keep his pie hole shut! LOL!!
Makes no damn sense. JMM claims he didn't need the title Provodnikov took from Alvarado so fighting him did not interest him yet he wants to fight the man Provodnikov KO'ed as if that makes sense! Alvarado may be damaged goods. I don't think he can beat even a 40 year old JMM. Damn it, I hope I'm wrong about that. JMM is a pooosy for not fighting Provodnikov, which btw I think he can easily outbox to a clear UD.
He didn't even say who will be doing the testing. Is he enrolled in the clean boxing program yet, lol?!
His trainer who is also his nutritionist/butcher will be conducting the tests. Bwahahaha!!!!
The author is a big f**king idiot! Whether the fighter is .5 or 2 lbs overweight, he's overweight!! That's the bottom line. He didn't make the contractual limit. It's bad for the sport and bad for the fighters, usually worse for the one who made the limit. To put it simply, IT'S CHEATING! Why have these weight stipulations if the fighters are not going to make it anyway? True, Mickey probably would have beaten Juanma anyway but not there's that cloud over that win now. Is Robert Garcia not doing his job making sure his fighters make the required weight? It's becoming suspiciously common with his fighters. Not hating on Mickey but this win is tainted.
Anyone who thinks this is an easy fight for Provodnikov is a fool. Marquez loves to fight againts fighters like Provod who he can counter all night long. I actually think this is a fairly even fight, maybe even favoring Marquez a little bit. Provod doesn't have great defense and no fancy footwork. He'll be there to catch Marquez punches. Provod's only obvious advantage is Marquez is old and more hittable now than ever before.
