Canelo doesn’t have the cardio to box for a full 12 rds. Mbilli does.
Canelo has to box in spurts because he’s too old to do it all 12 rds. He’s 36, but in boxing years, he’s over 40. Plus 60 bouts? That’s a lot.
Mbilli has a great chance to beat the current version of Canelo not because he’s better. It’s because Canelo is well past his best.
Smart money will put a few bucks on Mbilli for the upset.
Tyson breaking his hand is all you need to know. If there was ever a bout to skip and maybe watch highlights the next day, it’s this one.
MAYBE if it’s an absolutely stacked undercard, you might buy it, but doubtful.
Muratalla really shined in his last fight, more than even I thought he would. He was the epitome of a boxer-puncher, sharper than I had seen him ever. He could be the dominant force at 135. I want to see him, Schofield, and Mason tie up and go at it. Corey Marksman and William Zepeda could blend in as well from the outside looking in. Then you have Magsayo and Bahdi and Cruz out there. And the die-hard chin-checkers Sam Noakes and Rene Tellez Giron as well.
Sam Noakes looked real good against Abdullah even though he lost
Loma still good, but he’s been slipping for several years before he retired.
He’s done at the top level. I think his skills would prevent him from getting beat up or KOed, but he convincingly loses to most guys at the top level.
Maybe if the division absolutely tanks and there’s no competition, but I think right now he done.

Almost got beat to death. In hindsight, Wardley will realize that this was the moment where his career starts to decline
He going to be the next Wilder.
It was bad. He looked tired in the 5th rd. You can tell when Fabio was winging shots, desperately firing back and Dubois eats them like it’s nothing.
When exchanges are so one sided, bad sign. Add on to the facial damage, plus the fact that besides the 2 knockdowns scored, he lost every rd.
Punching power is meaningless when you’re so exhausted and damaged.
Rooting for an Mbilli win here. Even though Mbilli is right there in front of you the whole time and there to be hit, this current version of Canelo loses against any live opponent.
It sounds like someone finally watched Bill Burr's Philly rant over there in... Philly.
All time great rant caught on a flip phone camera.
That rant sold me on Bill Burr being a great stand up comedian.
She needs to forget boxing and go to college. She's 19. She belongs in college around her peers.
She probably has no other skills or comes from a very poor background with little other means to get by. College probably isn’t or wasn’t a possibility for her. And she might just love boxing!
Well, now that love for it might be gone.
Of course the bout was good, it was a small as hell ring! Wasn’t even regulation! But that’s how you make for great fights. Less room to run, more room to brawl. Keep em coming!
99% excellent comments. Would have been 100% if you Nad mentioned the always hot ProBox round card girls.
This was a blood bath; Algieri's dry cleaning bill will be huge. Both guys deserve props and the time to recover from those cuts.
Fu#king LOVE the ring card girls! :luvbed:
I don't like the guy. Sean McComb soundly defeated him and was robbed and he never gave him a rematch.
I think I remember that fight. Sean offered Barboza great lateral movement and seemed to really give him trouble. I remember being surprised at the score cards
Max having multiple cums in the ring ...
That’s like every match. Even the ones that aren’t that great. Like your average run of the mill boxing match. Max - “OMG WHAT A FIGHT!”
Wacking off is ruining your stream. Clean the goo out of your computer and next time aim your load in another direction! :purity:
My fu#king roommate essentially took over my PC. All he does is play video games in his room
And I do my J@CK1NG OFF at work thank you very much!
Dana White just wants to make a boxing equivalent of the UFC obviously.
He said some real outlandish and disrespectful sh#t about boxing though lmaoo.
Idk if he honestly respects boxing, or thinks that it sucks so much, that there is no way that he could possibly fail.
My question is if he’s going to put all of this energy into boxing, what’s going to happen with the UFC? Or is the UFC doing bad numbers and he just figures the wells gone dry and he’s looking to fu#k some other sh#t up in boxing? Idk what to make of that press conference.
An older Manny could still get out-boxed - pretty much the same as before, but can an older Floyd deal with Manny's power? You'd have to think that within 12 rounds Manny is going to significantly connect on Floyd at some point
Well, you also have to think that Mannys power is no where near what it used to be.
this will go the distance and it will be the same result as last time, but will be much more awful to watch than the first one.
why not? We don't know if bud is good in rematches? Don't do another floyd. Nel o should ask bud when he's willing to dance again
Okay I’ll tell you why not by asking you. Was the bout close?
I’m all for rematches when they warrant them, like if it was a close match and fun bout. The bout was not close and while it was intriguing to watch, there wasn’t a lot of drama and it wasn’t a barn burner so to speak. There was no doubt who the winner was.
And I don’t think Canelo even wants a rematch. Why doesn’t he rematch Bivol??? Wasn’t that on the table too?
Bivol had a rematch with Beterbiev because it was a FUN and CLOSE bout.
Let’s be honest here. Canelo’s done. He doesn’t want work with boxers who are more skilled than him.
I mean if they come together and work something out, then sure, but I don’t think anyone’s calling for a rematch.
And to say “we don’t know if Crawford is good in rematches,” it sounds like you’re reaching for something to put a negative mark on his resume.
There was never a public outcry for Crawford to rematch anyone. If anything, he should’ve rematched Madrimov over Canelo.
I think history’s gonna be kind to Crawford’s career. Undisputed in how many weight classes?
Only really had one close fight that I can think of. Floyd’s had several close fights.
And you can say that Floyd fought in a tougher era, sure, but Crawford had no control over when he fought.
AND Crawford was not in the drivers seat for his career and he still did what he did.
Didn’t have the name or the popularity, but he had the SKILL and the WILL.
ATG no discussion. He’s up there with the best.
Rematch Nel o then retire
Why would he rematch Nelo?
Was not anywhere near close enough to warrant a rematch. Canelo stayed competitive enough and he won a few rounds, but he lost CLEAN!
It was competitive at the start, but Crawford pulled away using his high skill and speed.
The most you can give Canelo, is like, 4 rds. And I feel I’m being generous in saying that.
The other 5 that resonated with me in no particular order: Ali, Leonard, Haggler, young Tyson, Roy Jones.
Honorable mention to Clubber Lang (1st fight + training scene). "No pain..no pain..no pain.."
“No pain…no pain….no pain..” was Rocky IV no?
Rocky III was, “what is your prediction?”
”prediction?…..(looks at the camera)…..pain…”
