The lesson of the sory is: "DONT ALWAYS BELIEVE FREDDIE." Pbf woulda murder the boy don't let the previous fight give you high hopes. As in high:"Y'all on crack dudes?Ya'll coulda share that pipe and i be down witcha!" Yeah that's what we mean of high hopes.
And the finishing blow would be Mayweather vs Pacquiao. I bet dana is scheming to hire a street thug to gun down jr. or hire a beautiful chick to lure pac and give him some serious STD or something just to stop those two from meeting! If those 2 would meet mma would be dead. So i hope those 2 would finally agree ****ing primadonnas.
You dealing with repressed feelings or what? All I know is that my favorite sport "boxing" had an average year at best til the last quarter. I mean when I dish out pay per view money for a Mosley vs Mora fight you know the boxing Gods have us fiending. I give thanks to those same Gods for the final months of this year, may they bless us all with another good year, and give you the confidence in your masculinity to overcome your hidden tendencies. "Shake and Bake!!!! Boom!!! That just happened!!!!!" lolMay the boxing gods forgive me from misjudging your true intentions, true believer.
That's your opinion, i'm not here to try change that. I'm simply defending a sport I like much like you probably would. Also can I ask if u think it's so gay or whatever, why'd you buy it last night?
I didn't bought it. I heard about it. You know internet is really useful nowadays. It's like great boobs sometimes it's gets ahead off everything.
Either way, your point makes no sense. You're talking as if MMA got all its fans directly from boxing and now boxing is on a mission to try win them back like you have this sad little war going on in your mind. Sure there are probably some fans that stopped watching boxing and picked up MMA but i highly doubt that some monster PPV from boxing is going to make people completely abandon watching MMA the same way the UFC didn't come along and take all boxing fans away.
Both sports are going to live on. When/if Pac-Floyd comes along it will be HUGE!! No doubt. But even if the next UFC PPV is the very next weekend it's still gonna pull big numbers as long as it has recognizable names, as it will always do. So as much as I hate to destroy your dream of UFC withering away and becoming a mere side-show, it's not going to happen. But don't worry because thankfully as you said things are looking up for boxing and we're all being treated to some great fights.
However as i've read your previous posts I suggest you stop making fun of "homo mma" as you called it and take a look in the mirror yourself son. Anyone who sees two men grappling in a sport and thinks "two guys passionately caressing each other on the mat" has gotta be a homo imo
And somebody said that labeling somebody(like me) as gay might be a gay too. What goes around comes around.ANd look at your avatar's name. Before you post here make a new account with a name like i_am_ellerbe or something.
mma and ufc will always be more mainstream than boxing. When is the last time you putos have seen boxing toy figures in stores or boxing reality shows outside of the contendor. Mma/ufc is still on the rise especially now with a great mexican champ!Yeah buy an action figure of that japanese guy on red speedo trunks and see if your son would be proud of ya!
Dear guzman
No matter what they say:i love your braids coupled with your swagger!
And p.s.: I ain't no homo coz i don't like mma. Just sayin' from a man to a man.
Your braid-coupled-with-swagger-fan,
arum_aka_T
Honestly within the last year or 2 I have gave UFC a lot of attention to see how they did compared to boxing, but the last month or two I have zero clue what is going on in MMA. Fuck that stuff. It bores me..
UFC would really bore you. They'll just do the same thing over.Grapple the other guy to death. Same repetitive ****. If they'll go for striking it wouldn't contain the same sweet science that boxing has.
Damn right it has. I can't believe I paid for UFC 124 last night 55$ for that jab fest when I could of paid free99 to watch Khan and Maidana on HBO. :(
Yep. Boxing will always be an institution. If it's down great fights woulda resurrect it. MMa came from the ashes now it's down on dirt again. Of course with additionalmale semen blood and sweat with that constant huggin and homo *****in!
There is room for both sports. I will watch MMA during boxing droughts, and have seen some good action fights, but the greatest most memorable fights willl always come from the boxing ring. Not everyone has the ability to be a world class boxer, much less the heart. MMA is what pre-season football is to the NFL, not quite the real thing, but after long droughts it's an appetizer.
I don't know how you find two guys passionately caressing each other on the mat then call it "appetizing!"
That's what i said when this retarded TS said Pac-Floyd is gonna kill MMA and he ignored me and won't answer lol such morons
What i mean "kill" is pac and mayweather would give a fatal blow to mma. But not necessarily would close down mma. Heck the environmentalists almost did wrestling but still people watch that crap. What i mean kill is more people would turn their attention to boxing than mma after they meet. "What's this hype about this two best guys in boxing meeting each other in their prime?"But not necessarily "close" down mma. That's just a form of expression like pbf "imma whoop his ass" but he isn't really touching the other guy's ass don't he? I mean he might do what ellerbe does to him but not inside the ring coz that willl be against the rules right? "No hitting below the belt ' and the ass is basically below the belt, right? Same as "kill":form of expression. Get it? I expect you don't so there's no point for exaggeration'.
Pacquiao/Mayweather would kill MMA for a night but what about afterwards? There are alot of great fights in boxing but by far the biggest fight is Pacquiao/Mayweather. After that what is left to keep the casual fan entertained?
The UFC is every where because they put themselves out there and are one brand. Boxing can't do what the UFC is doing because the promoters are too greedy to share. People are constantly complaining of spending 50-60 dollars for a main event. They feel ripped off because the undercard fights are ****ty one-sided mismatches and then if the main event ends early that it. At least with a UFC card you are going to get your moneys worth because they are going to show interesting fights and may have a couple of title fights in one card. Now a days every champion in boxing wants to be the headliner.
The last thing is if you don't like MMA then don't watch it and don't order it if you are gonna go in with your mind made up that you are not going to like it. I follow both sports and it gets tiring see how MMA wants to kill boxing or boxing wants to kill MMA. Who cares? You are not going to change anyone's mind by calling it gay or boring. People are still going to watch it and the UFC is still going to sellout arenas around the world. MMA and boxing are not going anywhere so get used to it.
I'll take your word for it. But like i said i didn't mean boxing would literally kill mma,it's just a form of expression. Oh after pac-may rising stars like saul alvarez would make a name for boxing in the future and other great matches on the making
But i'm pretty sure boxing's on a good momentum right now. They're on a roll so let's just enjoy the moment while boxing's on fire. Hope it will never last.
And maidana swung to the air a couple of times too getting excited in finishing khan after those hard shots that wobbled khan's knees did you notice it? He did connected to khan again but khan recupirated well and got away from serious trouble. You can score that round 10-8 for maidana still but thinking he could have gotten away from a draw? Wow that's smoking a joint a lot, man.
Doyouagree putting 3 words together without a space is totally awesome? My fingers are just too fast for my mind to decipher. Just ask my *****es and they would agree.
While I agree it's mainly fans stiring the pot. Have you seen the video of Arum talking **** about MMA? Or Hopkins? It's idiots like them that gets people going so you can't really just blame the fans. Also, i'm sure they're are MMA guys saying **** and talking the opposite crap Hopkins and Arum are, I just can't think of any off the top of my head so im not just picking on boxing guys hereYeah calling hopkins idiot say that to him inside the ring.
And say that to arum and he might slap you with his dollars. He's a greedy pig and i have his name on my sig but if you read between their lines they have a point. What they're just saying is:boxing obviously is better than mma andit was clearly shown by the last fights and on how you analyze and enjoy a boxing match compared to how you see two men looking like they're enjoying themselves on the mat.
I wasn't specifically calling those two idiots although it may have looked like that. I was calling anyone who thinks there is some sort of Boxing vs MMA war an idiot. You cannot possibly justify saying Boxing is better than MMA when they are different sports. That's like saying Tom Brady is better than Kobe Bryant, makes no sense
As far as i know this debate started when this mma fans and mma writers proclaimed mma as the next best thing and adding salt to injury that boxing is dead.
Now those recent fights screamed: "It's payback time!"
And now even before i made this thread i saw a lot of fans complaining about ufc on youtube boxing videos in reference to those great fights we just had. I wish i didn't spend my cash to that lame gsp rematch to the guy he already beat twice.
And so it fueled me the boxing gods have answered the injustices made by these sports writers saying boxing is dead and their fans gatecrashing on boxing forums talking about ufc even though it's a boxing forum just to disrespect.
And mma and boxing are closer than bradley compared to kobe. They're both combat sports. Your comparison is flawed.
One of the judges scorecards was 113-112....if not for Cortez idiotic deduction his scorecard would have been a draw just like mine...Khans punches although lots weren't doing anything to his opponent.
It's still scoring though. That's what they call as "ring generalship."
Hell did pbf's punches did anything to baldomir? But it schooled him still right?
Legends? I haven't read any DP since last year of his books......
Fedor is the geatest Fighter ever......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPAnsAipqbk
You know the movie x-men legends wolverine.
MMA has already been exposed. Their biggest, baddest guy who was the HW champ showed that he was scared to death of getting punched in the face. He turns away like you see in street fights between two girls. MMA is the only fighting sport where you can be a champ without being a fighter. Just gotta hold someone on the floor for 3 rounds and you are the best.
Holding him on a chest level while the other guy's tits is exposed to your face actually. ****ing disgusting.
Oh I know Hopkins was just **** talking or whatever but i'm saying it's these type of comments from known people in the business that gets the online warriors crying over MMA taking over.
I find it quite sad that people like TS need to bash such a great sport just because Boxing had a brief downfall when they could just spend there time discussing the sport they like instead
Ooooooopsy. There, it's lengthened.
The UFC has recently had some horrible cards but Strikeforce didn't disappoint 2 weeks ago. Last night's UFC Main Event was on some bull****. Yes, I understand GSP did what he had to do in order to win, but Dana White gives people hell for not "entertaining" their fans.
The last UFC Card was the Cain Velasquez/Brock Lesnar Card. Other then that, the 2nd half of the year for the UFC has been mediocreAnd after the fights we saw last month and last week boxing would eventually steamroll over UFC. They would then try to sign former WWE superstars or bum football players to their ranks in sudden panic.
pacmarg was a sham. take that off the list
And you don't find a 5'6"tall guy beating the face of a six footer to the point where he'll be needing a surgery as entertaining? WOE to you! You're not a true boxing fan!
I agree with you there, I even said in the previous post about Arum and B-Hop that there are idiots in the MMA world stiring the pot about MMA vs Boxing too but I just couldn't name them. I think ANYONE talking BS about MMA vs Boxing is just being stupid. I'm not talking about you or Boxing people i'm on about everyone.
I find the whole thing ridiculous when it's clear that Boxing has such a storied legacy and so many great athletes that it's never going anywhere. There's always going to be guys that people want to see fight even after Pac-Floyd. But MMA has established itself as a legitamate sport and every day it's gaining more notoriety in the mainstream media and it's not going anywhere either and people like you need to accept that and get over it
Alright. But it wouldn't change my view that boxing is more intelligent, more unpredictable, more dramatic than ufc.
Their only edge? They don't have multiple governing bodies like boxing has but still they suck like homos sucks cock.
