If I were managing Floyd I would try and get Paul Williams at 147 , I wasnt impressed at all with Williams and I feel Floyd would box his ears off easier than Quintana did in the first fight .
then fight the winner of Mosley Berto as soon as he can train after the Williams fight , and then corner the ducking Pacman and after embarrassing Manny , hang them up .
If PBF will do as you say then I'll be his fan for life.
When your fighter stops running you will have your bets. As of now, your fighther is a sissy and will be a waste of time to bet on a fight that your fighter is ducking.

You really think Pacquiao really cares that much about the money? Of course he cares about the money. Last time I checked it's the 21st century and money still made the world go 'round. But this is the same guy that just brushed off charges against his former promoters that stole from him simply because he says he is still indebted to them for helping him with his career. This is the same guy that spends millions to help cancer treatment in the Philippines, provide aide to his impoverished countrymen and even have extra money on the side to simply spoil his free loading hangers-on. When Pacquiao sued a Filipino writer a while back for a lot of money when he felt that writer crossed the line in some of his columns. It was a law suit Pacquiao could’ve very well have won but he dropped the charges after the writer apologized publicly about the matter. Yea, of course he cares about the money. Manny didn't volunteer to be a boxer. It's his job. But more than anything, Pacquiao values his reputation. Even if he doesn't cash another check from boxing The Pac Man is already rich. He can quit boxing and never have a money itch for the rest of his life. He's got businesses, a promotion company, movies, records that will forever receive royalty, real estate, endorsements and the list goes on. This is about pride more than money really.
De la Hoya is gone. Mayweather is still retired. Pacquiao is now the top dog. If you didn't notice, before he even put a superstar making performance against De la Hoya in front of the biggest audience in 2008, the celebrities already came out to see Pacquiao which validates his star power. And after getting a taste of the excitement and drama Pacquiao brings to the ring when he fights, you think America will drop him now? Now of all times when the spotlight is all his? WAKE UP AND SMELL THE TUYO! These boxing stuck-ups must not know anything about pop culture. Rappers like Fabolous drop verses on radio singles about Pacquiao. Heck even Rocky Balboa now wants a piece and do a movie with the Pac Man. Wake up! These people that keep insisting Pacquiao is overrated and not the draw are either lying to themselves or really out of touch with reality. I was in Indianapolis during the Pacquiao- De la Hoya fight and a few hours after they were raving about that fight on the local hip-hop radio station. I’m talking about Indianapolis man, and they know who Pacqiao is. And Pacquiao got there the hard way. He took the road less travelled and beat the best of the best and strafed no one. Ricky Hatton beat a lot of bums and Paulie Malignaggi and got knocked out by Floyd Mayweather. Nuf Sed. Better believe it, Pacquiao is now the face of boxing.
Whether you like it or not, you are living in a boxing era wherein Manny Pacquiao is currently the biggest superstar. I talked to Emanuel Steward last week and he himself said it. Don't insult our intelligence by saying Ricky Hatton deserves equal billing with Pacquiao just because he generates pay-per-view money from the UK. Hatton can sing that song with any other boxer out there, but next to Manny Pacquiao's resume and ring status, Hatton is a midget. Manny Pacquiao is aware of that. It's his time now. It comes with the territory. He has allowed the game to screw him over so many times before. Remember that gloves stipulation Morales had when he got that first win against Pacquiao? Remember all the Mickey mouse money Pacquiao got and 3 star motel room accommodations given to him back when he was already headlining in Vegas? Pacquiao already proved he was humble enough to do the dog and pony show and endure all the BS any unknown boxer from a lowly regarded region of the world has to go through just to make it in the big time. Manny Pacquiao knocked on the doors begging America to give him a shot back in the day, only to get shut down time and time again until he met Freddie Roach. And after so many years and all the hard work, Pacquiao has finally proven his worth surpassing expectations of even his most ambitious supporters and in essence kicking those once shut boxing doors open for others after him to follow. Pacquiao deserves more respect than that. And if Bob Arum doesn't think so, then maybe it's time for him to let Pacquiao go because they might as well rob Pacquiao of all his sacrifices by treating like some clueless up and coming pug. He didn't come this far to reach the top and just be treated the same way he was treated then. It's Pacquiao's time and this is simply his not so subtle way to say “it’s time to cash in on all the times these suits tried to screw him in the ass”.

As a Filipino, I know how it is to earn your way in the world. That's why a lot of us move to a foreign country and sacrifice not seeing our families only to be treated like peasants just so we can give our loved ones a better life. What Manny wants, is simply what any regular Filipino wants. That's to be treated fairly because if there was any other person in the world that deserves it, he’d be on top of a long list. Give Pacquiao's accomplishments to any American fighter and I guarantee you that fighter would be receiving Mike Tyson or Oscar De la Hoya money right now. What's 60% of the revenue? Heck Pacquiao isn't asking for money that's not there or some kind of bonus or raise. Whether billions or 5 people watch his fight against Hatton, he just wants the percentage he deserves because he is the main draw. Without him those Hatton fans and PPV buyers would be a lot less inclined spending that money anyway. Who else can Hatton fight that can generate the excitement of a showdown against boxing’s current pound for pound best and one of its all time greatest drama kings?
No, Pacquiao has not fallen into any kind of post De la Hoya trap becuase unlike Trinidad or Mosley, Pacquaio defied odds and did the unthinkable by coming up so many weight classes and demolished a legend. Don't get that twisted. Pacquiao’s timing is more than fortunate. There is no boxer in the sport right now more bankable than him. And whether you love him or hate him or disclaim you’re his fan only to bash and underhandedly belittle him, Pacquiao is the face of boxing right now. It’s easy to be a spectator and watch then throw out “expert” opinions, but at the end of the day, Pacquiao worked hard for everything he has achieved thus he has every right to try and collect bills due to him.
You can throw all the money talk you want with Hatton's English PPV or what not but like I said, it's about principle. Manny wants the respect he deserves and is done with the days when people took advantage of him and give him the shorter end of the stick. He has positioned himself to deserve demanding 60%. When the time comes he falls back down, then he’s going to have to deal with that then but today, as in now, currently, at the moment this very minute, Pacquiao is the man calling the shots. He may move a little bit with his percentage request but Manny deserves the lion's share of the pot and by hook or by crook he will get it, or forget about it. That's what's up!
:boxing:
yes. a mexican who calls himself el dominicano. lol
next time i see a guy with boricua in his handle i'm gonna call him a cuban.
Lol! a mexican pretending to be a dominican. :lame:
he's pretending to be dominican?
for real?
hey , fuck you el dom. why are you pretending to be dominican?
Yeah! I traced his IP and he is from Mexico. :hitit:
I'm glad it didn't happen. Pacquiao would have been KOed.....didn't want to see that.
Let's go Pacman-Valero or Pacman-Marquez/Diaz!!
I'll laugh at your mexican ass if the same thing happened to Hatton as Pacquiao's other opponent. And when Manny won the fight I'd bet you'll say that Manny fought an old and flushed out opponent. :lame:
Hatton is bringing in 65-70% of the $$...Pac should be THANKFUL to have even gotten 50/50...Yet him and his people are bitchin...You can't have too much pride
but I'd walk away from this one also. Only believing that Pac would say OK OK FINE
Back then when I couldn't afford a video game! I'd offer 5-8 dollars less then the price and if the guy said No! I'd simply walk away, then he'll call me and say "Hey OK OK! Deal" Which I think would happen if Hatton walked away
Cuz from what I see. Pac is beastin for $$
Mexican. :lame:
see how much money he was giving to his fat entourage
On top of that, Pacquiao is sponsoring a medical clinic, a foundation and schools for poor people in his country. I've also seen footages of him giving away food - lots of it. Like 10 thousand sacks of rice or something and the line is very long.
He is not greedy. He just want respect.
If you only knew how much money he is pouring into the depress area in his country. If you only knew how many hospitals and schools he is sponsoring for the poor people of his country. If you only knew how many thousands of poor people he is feeding every day... then no one in his right objective mind will say the Pacquiao is greedy.
That's all folks. My 2 cents. :boxing:
Someone said that a paquiao vs mayweather fight wouldn,t generate the same dollars as a paquiao vs hatton fight and i believe that because floyd is a boring fighter and anyone that buys that fight would probably want there money back but, a hatton vs manny fight would be fireworks...i think if manny could get floyd to come out of retirement and he,d agree to a fight for p4p the best ever in our generation, i can see him turning down hatton and anyway paquiao is the most exciting fighter today...and i think he should get 55-45 period but, a fight with floyd would be something like this-(the day the earth stood still) a fight for p4p royalty...i,ve patent this title so no one can use it unless they contact me personally with dollar amount for title...so bob if your reading this give me a call...
Don't underestimate the hate most people has to Gayweather, I for one is willing to pay hundred even thousand of dollar to see his ass whooped by the little guy.
Respect? I'm sorry, but anyone who's been paying attention to the negotiations has to have lost respect for Pac right now.
Breaking your word doesn't earn anybody respect.
Who said he broke his word? It is Arum who went ahead of Manny without even consulting him with regards the 50/50 split.
What you just said is full of crap. But, never mind if that is your stand then I won't flame you. This fight won't happen anymore because it's not about the money - it's about respect.
Team Pacquiao is now looking for another opponent. So, this bout is gone. Get over it period
Manny isn't thinking legacy, he's thinking Money. He just fought the Golden cash cow remember. Weren't there more meaningful fights then Pacman-DLH? Yes, and he passed them up for the $$. He's doing the same thing here, just out for money.
I like Pacman, put if this Hatton fight doesn't happen I hope he gets demolished by whoever he fights next.
lol somebody is bitter! hahaha... Be objective man, the fight with DLH cemented Pacquiao's legacy. We all thought he has no chance to win it and he proved us wrong. That is legacy - David vs Goliath and little David won!
His guarantee for the fight was 3 TIMES bigger than Hattons.
He will NOT get this kind of money fighting Valero, not even close.
He's scared shitless
Dumn thread. GTFO!
:haha:
ODLH hasn't been on top of his game in 5 year you ignoramous.
lol! Dela Hoya really said in an interview that he is in the best condition of his life. Pacquiao speaks the truth hahaha...
I bet it has something to do with the penalties in case Mayweather comes in overweight. Even if he doesn't plan to, which I'm sure he doesn't, I bet he's not too keen on the hefty fines that've been proposed.
You are sure? Really??? Do you really believe that shit you're saying?
Floyd doesnt give a shit about Pac's title,
Plus it dont have to be at 147 for the title to be on the line,
Pac's last 3 fights he has being acting up with gay catchweights,
Floyd struggled to make 144 with Marquez so the fcuk should he do it again!
Pac is champ at 147 and should fight at 147,
If Pac has agreed to fight at 147 (Which we dont know),
And floyd wantes 154 then Floyd is in the wrong........
Where did you read about Pacmans camp already agreed to 147?
Pac's title is welterweight so the maximun weight is at 147. If this title is on the line then the weight could not be higher than 147. Floyd at 154 is clearly ducking to me.
Cmon man floyd knows Pac will never fight him at 154,
Floyd prob dont wanna fight him at 154 either,
He is trying to get pac to agree to 147 at least,
If Floyd said "OKay lets fight at 147," Pac would say, "No I want 144!"
Its also building up the fight aswell
Your statement is full of " S P E C U L A T I O N ", the fact is pacman already agreed to 147 nothing more nothing less. Anything other than that is ducking - that goes for both sides!
I've been a Pacquiao fan since I saw him on the undercard of Lewis-Tyson in 2002. I picked him to beat Barrera in 2003 and Morales in 2005. I thought he got robbed against Marquez in 2004 and won a close fight against Marquez in 2008. I would vote him as the fighter of the decade for the 2000s.
So when I first heard Pacquiao accused of using steroids, I just laughed it off. I said that's nonsense. But now that's he's letting the biggest money fight ever go just because he won't be tested for steroids, well, that's proof enough for me. I'll always believe this guy was on roids until he takes the tests Mayweather wants.
And now he's suing Mayweather for saying he's on roids? Well, then, sue me too Pacquiao, because I say your ass is roided up, Pacquiao. I'll never support your pathetic ass again. You are a steroids user until proven otherwise and all your accomplishments over the past decade don't mean shit. Take the test or get the **** out of boxing.
YOU'RE A MEXICAN = PAC HATER. LIAR! :bryce:
But since he's at a healthy weight now he won't be weak and he won't be starving himself so it shouldn't be a problem, right?
Yep, shouldn't be a problem. So, floyd drop his testing bullsh*t and let them fight.
Along with ignorant people like you. I won't even call you a fan cause the only fighters you could name in 10 seconds are Mayweather and Pacquiao - even if your life depended on it.
Join date: Dec 2009, TS suddenly became an expert. :thinkerg:
They hand of to neutral people to salvage negotiation without emotion , is way of professional business man push hard to make deal , is plain to see Team Mayweather try every road to make deal , if no want fight why Floyd keep try , Manny is said leave many time already not Floyd , where you look for your focus because you look wrong place , when brain fill hate you see only hate .
wow, i didn't understand anything that you said!
