So roach said Martinez was done because of all the wear and tear in the Chavez jr fight... What does he mean by that? Jr got beat up for 11 rounds so is he damaged goods as well?

I really hated what Broner's and Maidana's trash talk after the match. Floyd is a piece of trash irl and talks **** but is always respectful after the fight so seeing those responses from Maidana at the press conference really irks me. IMO Maidana's playing the heel trying to sell the rematch that was already agreed on prior to the fight. If we don't see it, then Floyd had lost it for real and will retire.

Who will you cheer for? I like Pacquiao but I think I'll be cheering for the Siberian turkey this time around! :luvbed:

Yes, there was a conspiracy to steal this one from Floyd. Once they saw what a hard-sell it was, they just threw that woman under the bus. Somebody should have told her, "Abort the plan. Abort !" So who bought the judges? When is he going to "lose"? Discuss!

So Canelo wasn't on the Floyd-Guerrero undercard because Floyd didn't want to guarantee Canelo a match and yet he ended up fighting him in the next one. Is this a miscalculation on Floyd's part or was there something I wasn't aware of?

This is how I judged the fight in terms of level of excitement despite the outcome and the level of competition. Agree? 1. Guerrero - 12 rounds of good boxing. Really impressed with Mayweather's movement after being stationary his last couple of fights. 2. Ortiz - Ortiz was outclassed but I found the fight to be really exciting as he was relentless in his attack. I wished it was longer. 3. Mosley - 2 shots that caused some suspense but not much after that. 4. Cotto - Great boxing match but neither side impressed me enough to make me jump out of my feet. 5. Alvarez - A lot of you liked it but I actually found it to be boring. Although I did find Alvarez's "bear swipes" pretty amusing since the kid's got fast hands
