He failed A-tests with samples from the 3rd and the 10th. When the B-samples were tested I don't know but it is not true that they didn't have the results when the story broke on the 18th. When the story broke they were obfuscating the issue in all sorts of ways for days, even going so far as lying about the B-samples. They even put the fight on. The athletic comission wasn't even informed. They were definately sitting on it as much as possible.
I heard he can't fight on the inside and has gotten owned by a couple of sparring partners (whom are prospects as well) because of it.
If that's the case Top Rank will keep him away from Yhonny Perez, Poon, and other fighters of that ilk. I am backing Abner Mares against anyone from 118 up right now too.
He claims he can in fight himself but that he prefers not to. I think he's been often in with bigger (in-) fighters which makes it difficult for him. He's apparently been plenty out of shape as well.
I don't think too much weight should be put in such reports.
