Tyson was having orgies and snorting coke all week before the Douglas fight. He wouldn't have done that with a more serious fight. He dropped the ball there. If he went into the fight half-assed, he would have ended Douglas quickly. But he walked into the fight tired from all his other antics and barely had a camp at all for that fight.
Go ahead and build a list of all the HWs in the top 50 who can take Wilders nuclear blast right to the chin and keep going.
Don't worry, I'll wait. Take your time.
Wilder is 2-2-1 against non-bums. Taking his blasts isn't the only way you win. Fury has a weak chin with great recovery. If he didn't, a guy like Cunningham(not even a modest power puncher amongst cruisers) wouldn't have put him on his ass. And if Fury can knock out Wilder, nearly anyone in the top 15 can. Fury is obviously remarkable. But he's the Mayweather of heavyweights. He has no business knocking anyone out. Wilder would be lucky to be in the top 15 of US heavyweights of all time.
They're eventually going to be mandatories. Arbitrators will be brought in and they'll laugh at Wilder wanting 50/50 unless Joshua agrees to hold the fight in someone's basement and they each get $10,000. Wilder is too stupid to earn more than $10mil. That's what he's been getting pennies for a big belt holder. At best, arbitrators will give him 30% but it'll likely be less than 20 and he's going to have to take it or give up his belt. Dudes got 1 belt and is less marketable in his own country that Canelo and GGG
Mid 2022 is a bit ambitious, no? He broke a bone in his hand in addition to getting beat up and knocked out.
Bones in your hand don't take that long to heal. Brain injuries are cumulative. Waiting 6 months or even 2 years won't change much if he's not having significant concussion symptoms right now and in the next month or so...unless he has very delayed symptoms which some people get. I know my last one got worse over the last 6 months after the trauma...8 years later and it's not any better. But all my previous concussions came with zero symptoms lasting past a day or two
jonny C'mon man! Give Deontay a break will ya! Hasn't he been humbled enough? The man has fought the very best heavyweight fighter on the planet in back to back knockout losses. So he deserves a W in the win column in order to restore his confidence back.
Definitely not humbled enough considering he wouldn't shake Fury's hand. He's incapable of being a decent human
This is why boxing needs a different purse if you win or lose. They don't want to give Dillian $10mil? Guarantee $7mil and give him $12mil if he wins. Boxing payouts are idiotic.
He needs to come in with a bunch of helium filled balloons so his legs don't get tired. He also needs to fight with a CamelBak with water from home so Fury can't get to his water
Literally exercised his rematch clause 2 weeks after the fight.
Wilder didn't deserve a rematch after all the nonsense he was claiming. The idiot belongs in prison for libel. He's the only boxer that makes Fury look like a reasonable human being
If he's had both shots plus he's had covid he's practically immune to covid in the future.
That's most definitely not true. He's more likely to be asymptomatic, but he can still carry it. Even though he'd be likely to shed for a much shorter time period
