We don't know that Khan is anything special and this is his first time on the big stage but I think Freddie is good at what he does(matchmaking as well as training) and I think this is more of a showcase fight for Khan to get him in the American market.
I thought wright looked good but just couldn't keep up with the workload of williams which nobody can. So in that respect i would like to see winky fight again because he would have given any other fighter a loss but williams is a whole other animal. Whoever said margarito rocked and hurt paul williams must not have seen that fight, yeah maybe he got some good shots in but didn't come close to hurting him.
Floyd, Golden Boy and all the nuthuggers can try to justify it all they want but at the end of the day he's still fighting second fiddle. Good post! I think both fighters found away out of the fight. If they both wanted it so bad the fight would have been made. Honestly I think Manny wants to fight but, Roach wants to work on something with him first. I hope its how to fight going backwards.
Let's hope your right...I thought Floyd would have taken the fight because of how easily other fighters have hit Pacquiao and made him look bad at times. I personally think he has the style to get it done. Then again so does Floyd which is why it has to happen.
Johnson gave it to him and made it a close fight but i felt dawson definitely won that fight but this is a good move for him. You could tell with all the praise max was giving him that hbo wanted him so they put him on in a fight that he'll obviously win to showcase him as the heir to the light heavyweight throne. Next step for him is to unify all the titles by taking care of the bums with belts. Yes Johnson deserves a rematch more than tarver but he didn't have a belt so he didn't have that option but dawson has improved since then so he would beat him by a wider margin the second time around anyway. After seeing adamek do damage at cruiserweight I'm thinking much more of dawson now as well.

I think manny has improved so much over the past couple of years that I can't see anyone beating him I think he looked way stronger at welterweight so at 140 he will be just as strong. After the lazcano fight i have a feeling pac man will knock hatton out or a least buzz him a bunch of times. He also looked rediculously fast especially when he was fighting going backwards which not many fighters can do so i really don't see ricky winning even with all the grabbing. And with all the marquez talk if the ref wanted to he could have stopped the first fight after the 3rd knockdown and there wouldn't be these haters always bringing it up but if they do fight a third time pac outboxes him this time around for either a knockout or unanimous descision. Sorry but i don't like fighters who constantly cry about their losses.

I really like this one. Seriously Vitali isn't the safety first jab you to death cause he's too tall to get to sleep fest his brother is. He comes in and throws every puch in the book and undoubtedly has a good chin. I just loved the way he beat Peter from pillar to post after 4 years away and yes i think lennox went out like a punk by not giving him a rematch after vitali gave him the business and took all of his shots. I don't like what Arum is doing and i think it is disgraceful. The guy just moved up from 130 for christ's sake. Pacquiao should be fighting at 140 now and cleaning up the division while waiting on the mega fight with mayweather or marquez. This is why I was pissed off when he didn't sign with golden boy. Bob arum doesn't care about his fighters he figures that whichever one wins is his big star. Yes manny could win but there is more of a chance that he is being pushed too far and taking too many chances outside of his division. Cotto has unfinished business that he needs to settle with mosley(or at least he should want to man up and take his title back and show the world what he is made of) and pacquiao needs settle the pound for pound issue. I hope freddie puts bob arum in his place and doesn't even entertain the idea because we all know if it was up to manny he would probably fight him because he doesn't turn down any challange and isn't the best descision maker. Yes Everlast sucks sorry I know they're a boxing staple but as far as their double end bags and speed bags they pop every other day. I would imagine a Title bag will hold up pretty well although I never had one I had a ringside bag for both and the quality of the bags was great. I also was recently looking at the Lonsdale equipment on their site and the double end bag and speed bag are both cheaper and the quality looks top notch you can just tell from the pictures. Here's the thing if you were #1 p4p and you decided you didn't feel like fighting for a while so someone else came along, destroyed the people you had tough fights with, blew away another top contender in the same weight class and is declared the new #1 p4p fighter in the world if you have a problem with that because you feel you are still top dog then be a man and fight him. A champion doesn't start rumors with no basis to try to discredit someone else's career and use that as a way out of a fight...THE FIGHT, no he goes out to show the world why he was #1 in the first place. You can't take anything away from him for what he did to Mosley but that was marketing. He knew that was the only other fight that the boxing public would let him take to keep any credibility after he found a way out of the Pacquiao fight and it was the easier of the two(of course that plan almost backfired in the 2nd before Mosley decided that not throwing punches was the best way to win the fight). Either way I agree with everyone I only want to see the best fight the best and it's so rare that the number 1 and 2 p4p are in the same weight range that if it doesn't happen it's bullshit there is no excuse.
