He did seem to get more success when going for the body plus would help slow him down enough to land the big shots.
Also a sharper left hook to slow the lateral movement of usyk would help.
Funny that after all the arguments about who ducked who Wilder confirms it himself that AJ's team offered him more money but he went after Fury. Argument put to bed by the man himself. Ducked AJ but got smashed by Fury. Him and his excuses should just **** off. At least when AJ lost he took it like a man. I'd have respected Wilder if he had just said he was beaten by the better man but all this crap that he's said since has ruined it for me.
Mid fight I thought Joshua was doing pretty good and seemed to be getting some decent shots in. Last few rounds he just faded out and usyk seemed to up his game making the difference between them look bigger than it was early on in the fight.
I think as some have said Joshua would need to be more aggressive and willing to trade shots early on and work the body a lot more. I think unless he can get usyk out early or slow him down with body shots and using his weight advantage it will be another usyk points win
I'm a big fury fan but some people on this site talk like he walks on water. Be honest, he was fortunate to win the Wallin fight. How was that not stopped with that cut? I still think Fury is a better boxer but AJ has shown massive improvements since the first Ruiz fight. Today showed he still has some of the aggression although clearly needing a little more confidence. What tonight's fight also showed was that Joshua moved much better and actually moved his head a little. What I'd really like to see is him to actually fight a bit in a clinch - seems like he just waits for the ref to split them up.
