Gotta agree with a few of the other posters
What exactly does Haye get out of fighting B-Hop?
OK, It'll earn him a coupla quid and a bit of American exposure - but career-wise it's a crazy move.
After the Valuev fight, Haye'll want to put on an entertaining performance for his next fight. Hopkins won't provide that.
If he wins, he's beaten a 45 year old middleweight/light-heavy - well, no sh*t!
If he loses, he's lost to a 45 year old middleweight/light-heavy - sh*t!
He can't win - Haye seems fairly shrewd, It'll never happen.
Not sure about all this talk of Hopkins being shot though. On what evidence? His last fight? Still looks pretty handy to me.
