Lara is 14-0 with 9 KO's. He was a amatuer world champion & Cuban national champion. He's really looked impressive in the pro ranks. KO'd his last 3. And in his 10th fight stopped contender winner Grady Brewer who hadn't been beat in 5 years and had beat K9. Lara says he can rule the divsion and wants big fights now. Are we looking at the future of the 154lb division? I think he is really one of the toughest new guys !But there is always someone out there that can derail the next up and comer.You never know:boxing:

I thought hearns was done when he got ko"d. On showtime His last opponent in Oklahoma hurt him and floored him, Who took the fight on less than a weeks notice.If the guy had not completely give out after his attack he would have stopped Hearns !This is just a showcase fight for a German fighter to beat an American name even though its the son of an American name !Still the same ! I am giving them a chance to do something they other wise would not be able to do!The people that have a problem are the ones that think that the Dela Hoya's are the only ones in the world that have a right to box! I just left Charlie and his cousin that came with him ! His nerves are really tense right now, He is asking allot of questions like any debut fighter would do ! But at the same time he seems focused and wants to win more than anything !I am really glad I did this fight , True the attendance will be low because Hartley can't sale a ticket , and Charlie lives a million miles away , But in life some times riches are not measured in the money you make !It sometimes has to do with the treasures of seeing some get to live there dream !And if Charlie wins I am sure he will give his haters a big dose of IN YOUR FACE , but if he should lose I am sure he will not be heard from by any of us again !Whats crazy is at the beginning I was just trying to help a man or a fighter live his dream , But now this fight has taken on a new to me and to others! And I am really interested in watching this fight ! Its worth the $3500 I suspect to lose after Chapman and McCartney pulled out !
