Whenever I enter a thread on NSB talking about the hardest punchers in boxing I always see the same names. If we are talking about the past names like Ketchel, Foreman, Jackson come up all the time, same as when we talk about the present, it's always maidana, Matthysse, GGG. In both lists there is always one glaring omission, Ali 'the Yemeni Tyson' Raymi. This guy is the truth!!!! This 39 year old phenom is 17-0 with 17 1st round kos, against undefeated opposition. It is not long before he cleans up the minimum weight division, interim titles, full titles, super titles, diamond titles. We may have to invent a title just for him. If the politics of the sport don't stand in his way, I truly believe we have found the man to step up and defeat mayweather, by devastating 1st round ko no less. I would bet my house on this guy jumping to heavyweight and shattering Wlads glass jaw, then becoming the first to crack vitalis, but we no he only likes to smash undefeated fighters, lucky for the brothers K. I would have no problem declaring the sky is the limit for Raymi, if there wasn't a lingering doubt inside me that when he got up there he'd 1st round KO god and keep on going. Do you agree? I'm not over hyping am I? Thoughts?
