I suspect Linares has bigger fish to fry. Warren has claimed that Linares is ducking his fighter, but really he's just being paid much better against Crolla and will be against Mikey too. Flanagan's best money fight is probably his #1 challenger, Verdejo, but unfortunately for him it seems that Arum's going to keep the training wheels on Felix for a while longer due to his uninspiring performances of late. So Terry will probably have to content himself with so-so defences like Petrov, maybe Beltran, while he waits for Loma to come and relieve him of his strap
Hahaha, brutal but 100% true
Yeah, amazing courage shown.
Shane McGuigan should have let him finish the fight tho. Throw the towel in early if you're gonna...the man fought for 6 rounds whilst barely being able to stay upright ffs, now we gotta listen to how Bellew ''stopped'' Haye. He didn't stop jack sh1t...Haye was stopped by the injury.
Couldn't agree more, either stop the fight after the 6th or let the man see the final bell. Bellew would never stand a chance with the champions and most top 10 heavyweights so he should rematch Haye (if Haye recovers) and call it a day.
If this was your show Frank you'd be telling us how theres a very good chance of a upset and how Haye is only the slight favourite and that we should
ALL expect a cracking fight... However as it isnt, your telling it how it is, you should keep your hypocritical articles to yourself.
All promoters are the same though. Even everyone's favourite boy Hearn
I find the logic of this fight very amusing. When Mike Tyson was at his best...well I still remember the basketball coach at the High school where I taught special ed in San Francisco...Coach had played for the Golden State Warriors and he was looking at me describing how he has seen Tyson in a bar..."DArrell I could take him!! He looked small... I felt like I could take him!" We both had a laugh knowing that the small heavyweight we were talking about had caused those who had to face him piss in their pants, knowing that that piss would be knocked out of them one way or another...lol.
So, if Tyson was on stage, at his prime talking the talk Haye is talking I would probably feel like "owe sh11t this poor wanker is gonna get it" BUT REALLY...HAYE?!! Seriouslt :lol1: ? An ambush fighter with a major desire to avoid confrontation... Yeah he has a big punch and when he fights guys that come forwards he can knock em down...But do people really think that Haye has the ability to go after someone?
Bellew can box a bit and has heart. Haye has a very good punch and no heart. I am fairly comfortable saying that Bellew, while he may not be able to beat Haye, can certainly win the battle by not getting slept. He aint no Tyson!!! Shutup David, you are a plastic man. perfect body, no piss and vinegar.
If I am Bellew look out for Hayes fast feet, use the jab, tie him up, get by a few rounds and gradually work in some follow up. Since when did Haye become such a badazz? by beating up Audley? Listen...I happen to be a fan of Chisora, but Dereck comes Forward and has one gear. Does anyone think if Chisora had wanted, he could not have avoided Haye?
Haye talks a big game with a lot of nasty things that should not be said. Sell the fight but keep it real... Haye's game is getting that opportunity to throw his punch. Limit that punch, stay away from the right and what can Haye do? Bellew might suprise people if he can stick to avoiding Haye early and working in gradually.
Sorry pal Bellew has NO chance. Regardless if he tries to avoid the right hand or not. He'd get slept with a left hook
Boxers ALL have off nights. It's like us. How many times have you been weaker, slower, etc. on a day??? And how many times have you felt unstoppable??? Their human.
I even think GGG had an off night against Jacobs? He looked a lil slower than usual??? I even think I read somewhere he was sick or under the weather???
exactly my point
Khan just couldn't stand to get ko'd by Brook so he took the liberty of getting cracked open by the bigger Canelo. He got paid well and kept a lil credibility. If Brook had ko'd him he would be totally finished already!!
You clearly don't know sh** about boxing if you think Algieri won that fight. Khan didn't have a good night but he still clearly won that fight. Boxing fans can never have a balanced opinion about a fighter it seems. Either Fanboys or D-riders.
Golovkin has only defended a full world title 6 times...
Annoys me how many people forget/ignore that fact. Yes he is very good but you cannot ignore that he has only won ONE title in the ring. Also thought Jacobs won last night (115-112) but as GGG constantly reminds us : "This is boxing".
