I think a lot of people were swayed by the hbo commentary. Max Kellerman would not shut up about the Danny Garcia fight. And from round 1 they were predicting this would happen again. I think Herrera set some sort of record on compubox with his body shots, but he has similar stats in other fights. He throws pitter patter punches to the body which has no effect at all to his opponent. Might score in the amateurs but he won't impress the professional judges. I like Herrera but he is limited. Benavidez definitely has a few more gears but needs to get fitter. He has all the physical tools to have an advantage at this weight but he is wasting them with his back against the ropes.

Agree with you on the scores. Jmm is a legend. One of the most underrated fighters of his era. Don't get me started on the PAC fights haha

If Hopkins still has anything left in the tank he wins a ud. Got to respect Hopkins getting in with a heavy handed hungry fighter like kovalev at his age.
