Can Floyd absorb?-Eubank
Mayweather has many, many championship wins in different weight category's and hasn't come unstuck yet so he can obviously adjust, but can he absorb?
Hatton is this superb body puncher, so you may find out whether he can soak it up and more importantly suck it up.
Hatton's following in Naseem's footsteps and deserves credit. Speaking of Naseem, when he found himself on the wrong end of the punches, he walked away. So he obviously wasn't a proper package because he couldn't fight.
There are three basic facets to a pugilist- boxer, fighter, puncher. You have to be the complete package. Mayweather can box, but can he fight or punch?
When people used to say to me who is the best boxer in the country, I would say Colin McMillan. When people used to say who is the best fighter in the country, I'd say Paul Hodkinson. If they said who is the best puncher, Nigel Benn.
I was the most successful, because what I had was abit of everything. I could strut and pose but also stand and fight, I could give a punch but also take a punch.
I would never have won the first Benn and second Watson epics if I couldn't, or gone the distance with Calzaghe, who's power and skills have deteriorated.
I enjoyed being able to articulate and philosophise to the masses, before and after my 24 championship contests, and prove wrong public perception by taking my beatings, allowing me to continue during and beyond my professional career.
I think Mayweather should get his jab going. You know, there was a sign on the wall of my old gymnasium in New York which read: 'The right hand will take you around the block, the jab can take you around the world.' That's a fact.
But you underestimate a British Bulldog who has the eye of the tiger at your peril. You might find out whether the Pretty Boy is a great fighter or not.-EUBANK

No chance.
Hatton will win this and win it well. (Hatton in the shape he was in against Collazo wouldn't win 10 seconds)
If Jesus Chavez, Castillo and Oscar could force Floyd back and pin Floyd against the ropes and even in corners, then Hatton most certainly can and will, because his leverages and footspeed are second to none, and he's great at getting his head into chests... but Hatton won't be leaning on Floyd while throwing feather shots to arms and elbows (like Jesus Chavez and Castillo did) - he'll be side-stepping to create the space to thread powerful lefts into the few gaps Floyd leaves in the way he covers up, and side-stepping back or switching southpaw inside if he has to to keep Floyd against the ropes and his head in his chest
Not much chance in hell Floyd win this one, guys!
I'm a Hatton fan but so matter how you look at this fight he is the underdog and should be!!! If Hatton wins it WILL be an upset, I hope it happens but if I was to bet on this fight I'd have to go with Mayweather. Mayweather is going to have a longer reach ,is taller and faster. For Hatton to win he'll have to survive the early rounds without getting cut or eyes swollen shut but most of all he'll have to have to have enough spare gas left in the tank to outwork Mayweather in the later rounds. All this is going to be a HUGE mountain to climb and against whether anyone likes it or not the best fighter in the world right now. I still predict Mayweather by wide decision or late round TKO due to cuts or eyes swollen shut.
Bollocks mate. It's 90-10 Hatton for me, I expect him to win and so do most others
Calzaghe is the best fighter in the world still, I said he was the best fighter in the world after the Eubank fight (but changed my mind after Mayweather's performance against Corrales. However, that was long ago)
They're in for a shock, if Jesus Chavez can force Floyd back and pin him against the ropes, Ricky Hatton can bull Floyd back and maraud him against the ropes, and he won't just lean on him throwing feathers to the arms and elbows... he'll step off to the side and thread powerful lefts into the few gaps Floyd leaves (to the body mostly) with the way he covers up, then side-step the other way to keep him against the ropes and get his head in his chest, and switch southpaw inside when he has to
Hatton is one of the most skilled pressure fighters ever, and they're in for a fucking shock
