Decent nights boxing.shame the place was full of ****ends who would rather try and smash each other than watch the in ring action,Quigg looked good,He seems to get a bit of a bashing on this forum which i don't quite understand. As the saying goes you can only beat whats in front of you and other than the 1st few rounds of the Solinas fight which he come on very strong towards the end i haven't seen many notable weaknesses.Thought the Crolla Murray fight was a cracker.Murray looked shot after 6.Burns or Mitchell next for Crolla would be interesting.
Burns is well beyond these domestic fighters. He's levels above Crolla. Kevin Mitchell would smash him up.
Have to disagree there.2 or 3 year ago yeah,i wouldn't say Burns is levels above Crolla now.Burns has looked gash in his last 3 fights and is in decline. The Beltran fight took a lot out of him mentally.Crolla the total opposite.Getting better with every fight and confidence growing. Not saying Crolla would do him by any means but think it would be a decent match up
anyone hearing anything about Malignaggi? Heard he had a oxygen mask and carried out in a stretcher. Hope hes okay
Would be a awful way for a good guy to bow out.Hope there's no truth in this
I wonder what fake injury not so special k will conjure up to get out of a potential Porter fight. He ducked Alexander so i cant imagine he will go anywhere near Porter
Other than the win over Khan i don't see anything that stands out on Danny's resume.Zab and Eric were well past it, Matthyse massively overrated .Castillo and Corales were definitely ahead of anything swift has encountered so far
Danny Garcia without doubt
Struggled his butt of with a well past it Judah
Cleary got beat of Herera
The fact that hes fighting guys like Rod Salka in his 6th title defence tells me everything. Hes hanging about at 140 coz he knows as soon as he moves up to 147 the myth will be quickly exposed
Ide say Broner is more hated than overrated. He no doubt has got fantastic ability .It is his cretinous behaviour that makes people dislike him, not his boxing skills
Mentions for Jeff Lacey,RIcky Burns, lucian Bute,David Price also
No suprise at all. Cant believe people on here are trying to defend the clown. The guy is a 1st class gob****e. Running his mouth off bad mouthing proven fighters over legitimate injurys then pulls out himself. Facts are he seen the big russian up close and his arse fell out
It blows my mind how first of all, any of you can honestly say you thought that it was a draw, let alone a win for Bradley. Even Bradley can admit he caught an L tonight, but yall die hard fans/haters will scream robbery.
And then many of you very same people are saying that based off winning a convincing W against a really good fighter who is in his prime and on most top 10, if not top 5 p4p fighter lists. I mean yall any true fan of the sport can tell that Pac has faded a little, but even that faded pack pulled off the win against a very credible, on top of the world fighter.
Then many of you very same people discredit Pac for not rushing in for the kill like he didnt just suffer one of the most devastating KO in any recent memory. He was cautious, but he didnt run or stay gunshy like some poster claimed earlier. I saw Pac let his hands go with plenty of combos. First hard shot he took dazed him bc it was probably the first real solid hit he's taken since Marquez, but Timmy hit him with some equally flush shots later on and he handled them quite well.
His stamina is not what it used to be, nor is his power or agility, but his speed is still there for most part when he wants it to be.
You guys act like he just really put on a ****ty performance and Bradley got robbed. Be real with yourself, quit hatin so much, give credit when it is due. Pac convincingly won a fight many of you said he was too washed to win, but now that hes proved you wrong you say, "oh he won, but no ko, he's even more washed up"? I just dont get it smh..
Nail on the head
I dont see how so many people enjoyed the 1st fight. It was garbage.Floyd spent all night moaning like a little girl but I still had him well ahead.I had Chino winning 3 rounds at most and thats being generous. He barely landed a thing all nite. Was throwing wildly like a bar room brawler.Cant understand how anybody who has a pair of eyes thought he won.Floyd knows full well its another easy nights work where the 0 certainly wont go. Would much rather have seen him fight Thurman or even give Khan a shot. I for one will not be paying anything to watch that tripe again
Definitely not the Manny of old but still a good performance.Hes just comfortably beat the unbeaten p4p 3rd ranked guy (for the 2nd time) and hes getting drilled from all angles. Some people are either just plain bitter or clueless to boxing.Saying that i wouldn't want him to fight Floyd now.Should have been done in 09/10 but for whatever reasons it didn't happen. That ship has sailed.Credit where credit is due though.Again something a lot of posters on here seem incapable of doing
