The management of both Mundine and Green want their early 2006 fight to be a world title eliminator. Mundine has been fighting for the WBA and Green the WBC, so it will be interesting to see if the can get their fight to be sanctioned as a World Title eliminator.

Mundine-Green most likely in late Febuary in Sydney.

Anthony Mundine claims he will destroy WA's Danny Green when they enter the ring next year.
The outspoken Sydney fighter says he will show local boxing fans how good he is when the pair headline a professional program in front of a crowd of 5500 at Challenge Stadium on December 11.
The pair will fight separate opponents, both of whom are expected to be announced within a fortnight.
Mundine and Green will then meet in Australia's most-anticipated boxing match, likely to be in late February in Sydney.
The comparison is styles only, not comparing Mundines ability, talent or otherwise to RJJ.
Both fighters are at different levels. Jones is an ATG whereas Mundine is still coming to terms with fighting at world class level after starting boxing at 25yo.
My post was not intended to be a nut hugging post. I was just interested to see what people thoughts are on this topic (fighting technique) are that have seen Mundine fight lately.
You have a lot of facts wrong in that post.roy jones dad spent about 3 month with mundine before the kessler fight and mundine went back with jones dad after the rashid matumla fight wot a joke that guys was overweight light weight never thrown a punch in his life mundine put more than 40 punches on his chin and could ko him. mundine fights boxers jus starting out or over the hill/or not in his division (lester ellis 6 division up)(antwun echols 2division up)the only guy hes fought really was manny siaca at light heavy weight
Sorry, I did not try to sound mean. I was just saying that Echols was coming up 1 division and the Siaca fight was at 168 not 175.
Sorry if you took that the wrong way.
