He's an outstanding boxer, so exceptional at times that he isn't very exciting. But he does the basics so well, everything well.
Perhaps not that great in one area, except footwork and positioning, which is something to commend. He could give Benavidez problems, but David has that extra power.
I'm not sure it's a good idea for Benavidez to come back down in weight though. It's okay if he doesn't get weakened like Roy Jones when he went back down.
Imagine if the judges weren't crooked and Rico was allowed to continue and survived the last round.
He could've been the new heavyweight champion of the world, in boxing. What people forget is that in kickboxing, it's mainly punching, not much kicking.
Also, apparently he's been doing boxing training with Peter Fury for years.
I'm not saying the guy just beats a Tyson Fury or Itauma, of course not. I'm stating he was that close to beating Usyk, and he was winning, in any fair observer's eyes. The stoppage was horrible.
I wonder how much extra money they perhaps paid that ref before the fight, the type of under the table money.
He's a good fighter, although not seen that he has anything to beat Ennis.
He can punch in between Ennis' punches though, or counterpunch well, as 'Boots' has defensive flaws, that's true.
Of course, Ennis has incredible gifts, really talented, although I don't think his ring IQ is quite as high as Crawford's. I'd like to see Bud come back and fight Ennis, that's a super fight.
