Yeah, i'm trying to figure this out too. Never seen a fight in a theater. I'm hoping that this site TRIPLEDOUBLEYOU.toronto.com/movie/692214--mayweather-vs-ortiz-fight-live will shed some light on the situation soon.
Bayless is a great referee. I never had a complaint about him. It must be a relief for him whenever he watches a fight that he doesn't have to ref. He can just enjoy it and cheer for which ever fighter he favors....but he doesn't get paid.
I did lose a bit of respect for Margarito as a boxer (not as a villain, etc.) because he knew Cotto was gunning for that right eye. He kept on eating that left hook, left hook, left hook! And he didn't do anything about it. He didn't adjust. If he adjusted his defense then the eye wouldn't have closed and there wouldn't have been a stoppage by the doctor(s).
Great fight! No need for a 3rd but if there is, Cotto should load his gloves!
"They got to get off this May 5th date"? May 5th is traditionally one of the best days for boxing in the year, but Arum wants to fight on a ****ty "temporary outdoor venue" on "late May" ... Las Vegas has a stadium with 38,000 capacity, and guess what, it's already built!
Really? Which one? I haven't been to vegas in 10 years or so.
I love how none of these sources are willing to mention that Mayweather was the one to call Manny.
If it was the other way around the reports would be on that
Well, they mentioned that Michael Konze (did i spell that right?) said that "Floyd called." But i know what you mean. Mayweather's always the bad guy but he's really the only one keeping this fight a possibility. He doesn't get his credit.
