I personally don't think morales should deal with pac anymore. He was beaten twice in their last two fights, and i don't think he can stand a hair of a chance with this modified version of pac. Assuming there's no leg cramps involved :P
JMM doesn't have a chance against this version of Pac. Duh manny will still get hit a lot but i can see there will be more of a strategy going on pac's head than just punch punch punch punch punch punch. JMM is gonna have to eat his s**t for this one. And no i don't believe pac could be on anything, but then again i'm ignorant. I mean what could he be using that's making him so strong, fast, still small, and still have a little sort of high pitched voice that has never changed? The only thing i see different in him now from back then is his super happy attitude. Can't hate on a man that's made a good life for himself when we should all be doing the same. Right??
I think we ALL need to watch this fight again, blow by blow, to form a strong opinion on who we think really won the fight. I definitely will, because that was just too close. Both guys were countering each other most of the night. Lots of feints. Marquez did land more shots that were more noticeable, but then look at his face.. Marquez's face looked kinda swollen and beat. So Pac did get in enough punches to do that to him. According to the stats, Manny did land more punches IIRC, even though their accuracy is about the same. The judges probably noticed that. But really, manny wasn't able to get off on Marquez as well as we thought. Kinda makes me worry about the Mayweather fight now. Styles make fights and counterpunchers still screw with manny.
At the end of the day though, I'm extremely excited for Cotto-Margarito II. Did you see them argue??!
^That word "undefeated" is pretty much his best/only card he can play now a days, or it seems like that. Undefeated don't mean crap if you're not fighting people that can really challenge that undefeated title. Just had to say..
Yea boxing has become more of a business for most fighters now. Or just pure entertainment kind of thing. I wonder how people would act these days if boxing was more focused on just courage, pride, honor, glory, etc..
