Khan has terrible footwork shandy. I dont know where you see that it's good. He's off balance most of the time and when he throws his combos he gets on his tippy toes and squares up a lot. He has improved that though but it always happens nevertheless. I do see him edging out Brook with work rate but Brook does possess timing which can neutralize Khan and clip him on the way in.
So I'm the only one intrigued by this match up? Other than boxing 2106? I like both guys personally but can see Mendez winning by being rangy obviously but instead of his speed which he does posses use his timing to neutralize Gamboa's foot speed coming in. On the other hand Mendez does catch a lot of right hands even if they're not flush and he rolls them that can be a factor with Gamboa's speed.
My loyalties are immaterial. Unless you can refute my specific points instead of saying of Rigo "He good doe" or "He beat Nonito doe" or "Best Amateur ever durrr.." ... You are yet another NSB spawned simpleton that lets their dislike of a fighter get in the way of their analysis of said fighter. You don't have to like him or dislike him to point out the concrete things I pointed out with regards to skill.
He a cherry picker doe
Rigo got his ass knocked down though which is something May has avoided. So figure that one out.
Actually ill figure it out for you. I'm impatient like that sometimes and dont feel like waiting the eon it will take for your brain to pantomime logical thought. Rigo has great footwork, fast hands, and a good left.. But his parrying, stationary defense, anticipatory skills, and versatility all pale to Mayweather's. His defense is his legs. He can't stand in the pocket and not be hit like Mayweather. Mayweather can use his legs also for defense as he proved against Ghost, but for a while he chose not to because his versality provides him options. Mayweather has a more varied arsenal of attacks. Mayweather has more in his bag of tricks. Hence, he is more SKILLED.
Thank you.
Blah blah blah I like mayweather
