After watching the Donald Camarena/Jorge Alberto Padilla on Firday Nights Fights I am really wondering how judges score fights. I was not scoring the fight but when I do I score 1 point for a glancing blow or light jab, 2 points for a stiff jab, 3 points for a clean power shot, 4 points for a power shot that staggers, 5 points for a powershot that buckles the knees. Whoever has the most points at the end wins the round. If the points are within seven of one another I score the round even. I dont know where I came up with this system or why I did I just did. I Thought Camarena/Padilla fight ended with a hometown decision. Carmarena may have deserved the win but it was very close and it was a very tough fight to score. The judges had it one sided for Carmarena.
