floyd was 36 and canelo had like 45 fights. Canelo has fought 7 times since the floyd fight. Funny how dougie fisher says canelo was a young green fighter against floyd but then says he is the more experienced fighter of 52 fights when it comes to ggg. If those 7 fights were against top quality opposition, it would be more believable. His only top fighter was lara and he struggled and many thought he lost.

No one needs links because I follow boxing and in many interviews Jacobs has expressed interest in fighting GGG again and a fight with Canelo, hence his (Jacobs) move to sign with HBO. Actually he isnt signed with Haymon it was reported his contract came to an end. Good move because Pbc failed to get a deal with a network and they are just about over with the time buys. They dont have enough dates its basically just Showtime and a handful of Fs1 cards which are liely coming to an end. Top Rank on Espn has gotten huge ratings abd seem like the best place to go for any fighter but especially at lightweight and the lower weights in general they have no shortage of talent. I expect many more Haymon fighters to sign with Top Rank

I disagree, I didn't find his losses to Porter or Thurman as being very close. He was the clear loser in both of those fights. He hasn't done anything at the weight and has been living off his wins at 140 for years. He only has name value because of that weight class. I don't view him as dangerous at 147 he hasn't destroyed anyone of note since once again his days at 140. Idk why he is labeled as a dangerous puncher still, he has not impressed with his power. He is gonna lose and I say that with complete confidence and yes he will be the gatekeeper after this fight because he will have lost all of his big fights at 147.
