I can't say I don't expect this kind of thread, and you guys have a right to do this since the Pac fans have been so vicious over the years but....
I don't see the humour in it simply because I boxed and train now and boxing is a sport where men die in. So for me, I respect Manny and think he's one of the classiest boxers ever and even though his fan base hasn't acted the same way, I choose to respect him.
Some of them are funny though, I can't lie. For me though, I choose to give more respect to an ATG in Manny Pacquiao.
Man, please. Shut yo a** up.
If you asked a boxing fan in the 90's "Which fighter will be likely to go broke - Tyson or Holyfield?", the unanimous answer would have been Tyson because of the way he lived his life in the 90's. It's funny though how 20 years later, the opposite's happened...
both of them fools squandered money.
"I know this is true because I was managing him when he couldn't sell out his hometown of Grand Rapids or the San Francisco Auditorium, which only seats 6,000 people."
I don't see how this is "ether" on floyd. This seems like a slight towards himself. If you were managing him and he couldn't sell, that's probably why Ward ain't sellin outside of Oaktown. C'mon J. Prince.
Thats because they went by Mayweather's own words that he was going to fight Alexander instead. Many believed his lies about the deal almost being done. The only one to mock is Mayweather for misleading the public. People have every right to say Mayweather is ducking the Ghost if he tells people he is fighting Alexander.....most people like myself picked up on the ploy he was using. He either was trying to show the Promoters he is in charge, like someone close to him said, or he was trying to make the Guerrero fight look better by mentioning Alexander which would be a boring fight.
Now, lets start the "he is ducking Alexander" train.
Without getting into an unnecessary theological/philosophical/political debate about religion on a boxing website, I'd like to say that I respect your views as long as they do not interfere with everyone else's right to freely live their lives.
Spreading God's word and invoking His name every few words is not the same thing. Not to compare anyone or anything to the Almighty, but if someone brought up their favorite person or thing every few seconds in conversation, it gets old real fast. I seem to recall a passage in the New Testament where Jesus instructs to worship in secret, unlike the hypocrites who love to be seen and admired for their "devotion to God."
Pray in secret. Not worship in secret. He was contrasting those who pray to impress mankind vs. those who genuinely pray. If you get annoyed because someone mentions Jesus all the time then so what. Just be annoyed.
"God does have favor over people. How do you think David beat Goliath? How do you think Moses defeated Pharaoh? God has favor over people, God uses people"
He surely can't believe that can he?
But Mayweather is a believer himself. Pharoah and Goliath did not believe in the God at all. Terrible anology on guerrero's part.
Garcia gonnna be eating some canvas within his next two fights. The guy throws bombs but doesn't pull his hands back fast enough. Khan was killing him with that but luckily for Garcia, Khan is soft as baby shat.
