Usually its just people hating on Trinidad.
Ill tell you why.
Ive seen fights where Oscar De La Hoya,James Toney and a few more off the top of my head were made to Re-wrap before a fight( I think even Holyfield once) but they say nothing of these guys. All have been on only one occasion because of too much tape, twisted tape between the knuckles (said to cut opponents easier), and too much gauze.
But none were investigated, had a hearing, used plaster, or suspended.
Unless these guys have some sort of conspiracy theory, their claims are at best
biased.
Back to the point: Trinidad destroys Margarito. Why?
Margarito is a come forward fighter. Trinidad has never lost to a fighter who comes forward. Margarito gets hit too easy and Tito has a very good percentage of shots landing in all of his fights with the exception of slick boxers or defensive fighters, which Margarito is neither.:boxing:
Yes I heard Oscar De La Hoya had to re wrap his hands because they would wrap it a way that it made a knot close to the knuckles that would help his punching power. This was said by the people from HBO TV.
Floyd knows what to do. He'll pace him self waiting for pacquiao to be the aggressor while he scores points to the body with occasional punches to the head. Waiting for the big shot that dazes pacquiao and then will try to capitalize on it. If he gets close he'll tight Pacquiao out. when the referee resumes the fight he'll quickly try a fast sneaky shot. to hit pacquiao by surprise. always standing up straight using his size advantage while protecting his head from manny's left hook and waiting to counter.
I would give Pac the win here. He gets extra consideration for moving up in weight for 3 of those 5 and winning all 3 by stoppage.
Cotto should had been 5 and 0 with real welterweights. Nobody making weight to fight him they were in their best condition.
