Thurman didn't want smoke from Ej when he was relevant and is looking for Haymon to get a 50\50 split against Bud which isn't realistic considering Thurman isn't nearly a rising potential star he once was with that long layoff and being defeated. I think Bud should get no less than 60\40.
Thurman is no better than Khan skill wise so either way he gets stopped or beaten clearly by either Bud or Ej there's no better option here. Ugas is the dark horse but also beats him at this point.

His father just like Teo Sr. was abusive and demanded the world of his son. Sr. was also to blame for his sons mothers death being her dealer. Before Jacobs landed the fight with Canelo he fought tough contenders at the time in Sulecki, Devrenchencko then champions in Quillen and GGG. Even in his questionable loss to GGG Canelo still granted him a shot.
