Lately most staredowns at weigh-ins result in fighters pressing their nose against another fighters nose for example Calzaghe/Hopkins, Calzaghe/Kessler, Hatton/Mayweather/Calzaghe/Hopkins and the most recent Pavlik/Hopkins. Does anybody think it's funny or stupid and completely unneccessary? Hopkins basically gave Pavlik an eskimo kiss, Pavlik's nose was squashed against Hopkin's nose.
