if it does happen, i hope cotto respects himself better this time. if they're fighting for cottos junior middle weight belt then there should be no catch weight like in their previous match..pac is not god and just because he generates a lot of money, cotto does too and should not be bending for pac..154 or nothing. if lil man wants to play with the big boys then so be it but man the f''' up and fight at 154 period.

If Cotto doesn't come with a new game plan and a different approach and learn new techniques from a different coach I don't even want to see him fight. That killer instinct is not there how it used to be. Maybe money does that to sime people. He seems to have slowed down a bit and to me that's because he's been in the most wars of any welterweight. As long as theres obscene amounts of money on the table fighters will line up to fight Manny at 145...the sactioning bodies ( wbc,wbo, ibf etc) will allow this nonsense to continue. Why have rules if you're going to go around them. Might as well just call anything between 140 and 149 a weltwerweight fight. No junior, super welterweight, just welterweight. Noone should fight Manny unless he either fights at 140 or 147 period. No fighter should have an advantage. I had Cotto winning but I like MAnny as well. i agree that he needs a new trainer but
not felix sr. He couldn't teach trini new tricks when his power didnt overwhelm opponents. Like someone said here, he needs to relearn some basics and learn new ways to fight. He's too predictable and can't fight at an elite level unless he's taught different techniques etc. I would say go and persue Bernard Hopkins trainer.mosley does not win the Margarito fight without him. Would be interesting to add a new dimension to Cottos style, a little slickness, perhaps a little holding just to annoy his apponents and lord does he need to train on defense. His power will still be there as well as his body attack and this would just I think give him more weapons to do battle with.
