She ain't a thug, she just surrounds herself, at times, with the wrong people (family or not). I have a couple undesirables in my family. At the end of the day they still family but I don't go out of my way to have them around me all the time. I see them at family events - that's it.
When you know someone has a specific mentality and you just throw caution to the wind, and have them around you at work. That's a problem. She should have better judgement skills than that. He should never be allowed to attend any of her pre or post fight **** again. Let him watch the fight in the stands and stfu.
I could see why people don't like her though. To be more accurate, she comes off as a self entitled A-Hole. She's great in a sport (female side) where the talent pool has barely any depth. That's why no one watches that ****. I'll watch, maybe 2-3 female fights total each year vs mens boxing where ill watch entire cards (undercard and main) almost every weekend. Would love to see her fight an Ann Wolfe type. Shut her up real quick.
I just have never been able to get into the women fighting thing...just can't do it yet lol...even the pretty ones, I don't want to see them get hit!! lol
I'm a huge boxing fan, and I respect anyone willing to step in the ring, BUT in women's boxing the competition is terrible. That's what makes it boring. You got mediocrity across the board and like 2-3 special talents and you don't really know how special because there's no one else elite to challenge them really. In women's boxing right now, you got Shields (olympic star), Serrano (just be knocking most her opponents out, crazy power for a woman), Braekus is legit but she on her way out (she 38). Don't say Katie Taylor - i had her clearly losing vs ... Persoon i think her name was,... i scored it 6-4 (even though it was close, the 6 rounds were clearly won by Persoon imo.
Now with all that being said. I named 3 women, 1 of which is close to retirement age - Braekus undisputed welterweight champ, has been for almost 4 years. Serrano is a 7 weight champ with serious KO power, and Shields who like Katie Taylor won gold at Olympics. 3 Women though? For an entire sport and they wonder why they aint getting paid anywhere near equal money to men? Cuz no one gives a **** and pays to watch mediocrity.
Hopkins. Much higher ring IQ, much more versatile and skilled technical boxer. Froch was great forcing his way inside and fighting guys who were willing to allow him on the inside and fight his game. Hopkins would keep him on outside, force clinches and time/counter him whenever he tried to force action on inside. Hopkins would have been A-side easily, if fight would have been at 168, would have had to be around 2006... and at time Froch hadn't fought anyone. He didn't win the WBC 168 title til 2008 I think... So the fight prob woulda taken place in like 2009 at 175 instead of fighting Taylor, and we all saw what happened there. Taylor was whipping his ass all fight and got careless late. Don't see someone like Hopkins allowing that to happen if he's up big going into final round of that kinda fight.
Styles make fights, and before people try to triangle theory Taylor. Their first fight i scored a draw, the 2nd fight i had Taylor 7-5, as I think most people did, maybe a draw again (i remember that 8th round was close). Hopkins was very skilled, and his longevity in the sport was insane. Froch at 175 vs Hopkins, he gets murdered. I even think there's a chance Hopkins would knock him down a couple times.
I also see a lot of people bragging about Froch resume. I dunno if you people watched those fights or just look on wiki/boxrec. He got some gifts in there. Dirrell clearly beat him and got robbed, Taylor was up 7-4 going into 12th, Kessler beat him clearly the first time, I thought Kessler edged him the 2nd time, had it 7-5 Kessler, those judge scorecards were bogus (UK home field advantage is super real). So with his record put in context for all you boxrec/wiki warriors, you really think Hopkins was losing that? And Hopkins vs Calzaghe was a close fight... i personally score it 7-5 for Calzaghe but it was a good fight. Calzaghe woulda beat Froch as well.
Corrales sucks
He getting the shot because he held the title for 2 years before Machado knocked him out back in late 2017. Colbert gunna whip his ass and later on this year prob force LSC to fight thim or vacate and go up to 135 to fight Davis (who def dont want no smoke against top 135lbers who are currently there and won't be for too long).
Colbert and Lomachenko on a crash course that would likely happen in 2 years, maybe less (assuming Lomachenko comes down to 130 sooner rather than later).
Colbert's team been working on his power for quite a while, and it's finally showing in fights. Beltran aint a great boxer but he's also no slouch that gets knocked out in 1 round by a guy with 4 career KOs. It wasn't a fluke. This kid is the surest bet in years. Maybe people would think that's a bold statement, maybe think I'm over hyping him. His name gunna be right in there with Shakur and Haney when the year is over. He does too many things well and it looks so natural, like he aint even trying.
