They should have BEEN using Olympic style testing in boxing. If these cats riding bikes through France are doping, then it's safe to say that anyone would do that sh*t. The blood test immediately before the fight would actually be most important test. EPO (the basic formula of what Mosley took) is something that dissolves in your system as you increase your heart rate. It has something to do with getting more oxygen into your blood stream. That's why they test the Tour De France riders thirty minutes before a stage begins and immediately after it's over. They compare the two results to see if there are any irregularities. Listen.....if Mosley was doing this stuff back in 2000-2002, how far do you think they've come since then? It's not a matter of Pacquiao being asked to do too much, it's a matter of him wanting to do too little to put all this to an end. Marquez would be smart to ask for the testing as would any fighter that gets into the ring with anyone who is about to repeatedly punch them in the face.
My point is they're acting as if they don't know how to deal with Mayweather. They've been calling him out for years and we still haven't seen the fight made. So it's obvious that pressuring him through the media isn't how they're going to get this thing done. Let's not forget that Mayweather has $60M guaranteed for his next two fights, Manny or not. Maybe, just maybe, if Arum steps back and they are a little less "Mayweather is killing this fight", then Mayweather might feel like he won the negotiation. Again, I'm blaming Arum/Pacquiao, but half of getting what you want from someone is knowing how to get it.
Ortiz knew he had f*cked up. That's why he tried to kiss Floyd and give him a hug. Ortiz got what he had coming to him. What if he had opened a huge cut on Floyd with that headbutt bull****?? I really don't know what all the fuss is about....Floyd was going to knock his a** out in seven or eight anyway. He was walking Ortiz down and clipping him with lead right hands. Ortiz tried to headbutt Floyd because Floyd was taking it to him and he panicked. We already know from the Maidana fight that Ortiz is immature. Beating Berto didn't change that and his attempted headbutt proves it.

I was ready to call it quits as far as watching boxing ten years ago. I stumbled across Augustus fighting Ward on ESPN and was instantly hooked on his style. I had the chance to see Augustus fight in person two times. The first time was in Little Rock, AR against Russell Jones and then a second time against Marteze Logan in Kansas City, MO. The guy is a legit performer and always fought to win AND entertain. There's supposedly a guy who has been traveling with him for the last two or three years filming a documentary about Augustus. Hopefully, the film becomes available to the public at some point. Congratulations, Emmanuel.

Actually....official scorecards show Floyd up two rounds to one after the third and he was going to get the fourth round as well, even without the deduction for the headbutt. OH..a quick question for you??? If Floyd's legs dipped....why did Ortiz feel the need to throw that huge f*ckin' head of his at Floyd? If you saw his legs dip, then I'm sure Ortiz did.
The fact that Arum/Pacquiao are the only ones going to the media during the negotiations is a little disheartening. I'm not saying that they're the reason it's not happening. However, if they know that the fans, for the most part, already think Mayweather doesn't want to fight, then the only thing they're doing right now is pissing Mayweather off. It will look like they pressured Floyd into fighting and, as we all know, Floyd is not about to let himself look like he was forced into making this or any other fight. Arum needs to cool down and Pacquiao needs to stay off Sportscenter. If the fight doesn't happen, then they can go with the full media campaign to let the fans know how and why the fight didn't get made. It's almost like they don't know who they're dealing with or what his responses will be to some of the stuff they're doing.
Arum, knowing that Mayweather doesn't like him, should be moving this thing along from the sidelines. If he really wants to see this thing happen, then he needs to play to Mayweather's ego and take a backseat as far as trying to be the guy that made the fight happen. Again, I'm not saying this is Arum/Pacquiao's fault. But if they don't know how to deal with Mayweather by know, then they'll never learn.
Mayweather is the one guy in the sport that they can't dictate terms to and it's showing. I fear that this fight will get made when Arum is dead, they're both past their prime, and we don't give ****.
