Yeah, I think that is the key to him changing his mind. Though it is annoying when boxers take it upon themselves not to fight each other because they happen to be good friends.
Khan is a joke, he would be a fool to step into a ring with Manny or Mayweather.
This has mismatch written all over it, moreso than Haye vs Harrison.
Hey I can dig that, but I'm all in on Froch before and after the Super Six..Dude is so willing to fight anybody I also believe he has underrated skills..Everything he does is settle..I don't care how Ward looks against AA,Dirrell looked like sh*t against Froch then looked amazing against AA..Styles make fights and Froch is a hard man to look good against..IMO Froch's resume is one of the best in boxing right now,and if he wins the Super Six I would put him on my P4P list at around 5...
Whether he wins the Super Six or not, Froch will never be P4P.
No skills, just power and heart.
Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, he's exciting and he will fight anyone anywhere, but P4P greats these traits do not make.
You want to say, "he should fight journeymen" but he did and got beaten anyways.
I want to say "he should become a journeyman", but it's becoming increasingly obvious that beating a post-Calzaghe Lacy actually means very little.
The Calzaghe fight is an example of why a corner should stop a fight when their fighter is past the point of winning.
Fully agree.
Jeff wasn't just getting beaten up in there, he was being systematically broken down and dismantled, both physically and mentally. He was always gunshy afterwards but to be honest I'm not suprised in the slightest.
It was world class vs kindergarten class in the ring that night, shame on his corner for not doing something about it.
