Not so much scary but on numerous occasions the gov bodies official observer (and president on one occasion) asked to see my scorecard at the end of the fight before it went to the ref and suggested I re-examine it.
So much money involved. Better to get the job done before it goes to judges.

Well when I was asked to "re-examine" a scorecard, that was the inference I made. It was a world title fight. I scored the fight correctly but the fighter I scored it for didn't win (press and public opinion were very much on my side).
That was the last time I really did a big fight.
You can understand it though. For a working class man like myself, its a nice 2nd income to judge, and most people are more motivated by money than I am.

This is a close one to call. I maybe have Taylor ahead after 8 but I would not be surprised if we are heading for a draw. Some of these rounds are not easy ones to score
