Hard to go against Bam, Crawford, Usyk or Inoue. Pretty excited to see Bam the next decade, being so good at his age he has time to have some really good fights.
Hopefully we see him vs the Inoue and/or Nakatani at some point. Whoever comes out on top outta those three could well be the best small weight fighter of this generation.
Wilder is a POS man, after all those 2 lads been through he couldn't even shake his hand and say good stuff. They just dedicated over 2 years to fighting one another, if Wilder had shown some respect I'd be keen to see him fight again but it's pretty disappointing. While i'm here, Malik Scott is a potato and hopefully disappears now
He got jobbed against Joe Smith. I actually liked Joe’s comments after the fight. He basically confessed that he got a hometown decision.
Yeh I watched the fight and had him pretty comfortably ahead, even though Joe hurt him towards the end.
Vlasov deserves to run it back I reckon, or hopefully get another shot after a win somewhere
Are you sleeping on the ferocious one?
Yeh can't call George a top tier fighter yet though, will see how he goes against Teo, prob do well but fall short.
I respectfully disagree.... The Castano fight would be 50/50, Tim would TKO Charlo within 8 rounds....
If he couldn't KO inoue why you think he could KO charlo who has a good chin.
think tszyu needs another fight, Harrison would be best, then I think he beats charlo and prob castano
so the rule is max 2 tough fights in a row
tough-tough-easy-tough
or tough-east-tough-easy
There is no rule man, its just my opinion Ortiz had a hell of a few years with the illness, has gone through two wars and should prob rest a bit or take a fight against a mover/counterpuncher for a different style.
Props to Bivol for taking the loss very very well. Obviously disappointed but he wasn't an asshole crying about it.
I was pretty disappointed that Beterbiev didn't give Bivol any props whatsoever post fight but maybe it was the language barrier.
Ortiz will mow through most guys but I think ennis is a problem for him. The kalvauskas fight showed ortiz has some defensive holes. He is elite tho.
We've seen boots get tagged as well, Ortiz v Ennis would be a great, competitive fight, will be good to see their next fights to see where they're both at
Far out Parker can't be serious. Used to be a fan but to get lit up and arguably lose to old Chisora is no good, especially after a stinker with Fa and fighting 2 other nobodies. Needs to sort himself out or he'll be relegated to gatekeeper status.
Obvious what Canelo is doing.
Fight Charlo first who has fought twice in 4 years and almost lost his last fight to a c level fighter. Willbeat Charlo no doubt, hes not that good.
Make Benavidez wait longer so its even harder for him to make weight and he's more drained. Wouldnt be surprsied to see Benavidez win regardless though.
Wonder who 3rd fight is? If its Spence then thats fkn terrible hahaha guy is at welterweight.
If he fought Benavidez, Charlo, Morell thatd be fkn insane and youd have to give him props
I think it’s hilarious beterbiev pulled out after running his mouth for years insinuating bivol was ducking him. He better hope his knee is 100% cause footwork is where this fight will be won and lost
Pulled out cos he's injured though isn't he? Or are you saying he's lying? Id imagine Beterbiev knows the sooner he fights bivol the better for him, so wouldn't make sense to pull out without an injury
yeh agreed man, horn may not be a great fighter and his style is a bit of an eyesore off his game respectful and a good bloke. Looked pretty off his game tonight, likely would have lost regardless, Tszyu was excellent.
Huni is top notch, if he can find that power, he'll be a top heavyweight. If not, he may be in trouble, has a good chin though and his boxing skills are tight
And he's only 24! Wait until he's 27, 28, 29! Game Over!
Yeah i expect he'll out grow WW in the next 2 years (probably cleaning out the division on the way) then move up to 154 and do the same thing.
With the exception of Crawford (if they fight in next 12 months), maybe ortiz, can't see anyone at WW beating him.
Wilders chin is just as bad, the first solid punches fury landed had Wilder on queer Street where he remained for the entirety of fight 2 and 3,he has an impressive ability to survive deep into fights as a borderline useless zombie, however. I belive its due to his complete lack of a brain.
Hahahaha fk that made me laugh and its 100% correct
Hahaha every single pairing has some stupid ass belt they holding. Basically just pay some organisation to fight for some bs belt.
Then call em all "world champions".
I read an article on here yesterday that referred to Tank as a 3 weight world champion...well he's not is he. Wish this part of the business would eat s#!+ and die
Big step up for Tszyu to fight castano next, hopefully fights Harrison first and if he wins that then he's a good chance at either Charlo or Castano.
Would be great to have a top tier Aussie boxer after watching Maloney bros fall short.
All real boxing fans want to see ennis in with those 3 fighters he mentioned the only ones who don’t are crawford fans they don’t want ennis anywhere near bud for some reason lol
I think Bud is trying to become undisputed/unified at 154 man, if Ennis goes up and grabs a title at 154 they'll def fight.
He should try and get a fight with Murtazaliev, offer him great terms, win the IBF and sets up the money unification fight at 154 with Bud.
It doesn't do much for Bud to fight Ennis at 147 legacy wise. He's only really got 3 fights left probably and he wants to win all the marbles at 154 and retire as an ATG.
I'd love to see him fight Ennis, so I hope it happens as well. Real 50:50 fight.
He better get his personal issues in check and be committed to making 135 because Jr Welter is not his division. Guys like Taylor,Regis,Jose,Mikey and maybe even a Zepeda or Baranchyk are just too big for him. Then again, let them be deluded into thinking because he beat Barrios that he's ready for the elite at 140.
Yeh I agree he gets chewed up all those guys bar maybe baranchyk which could go either way given his defensive holes.
Should fight at 135 against someone who is good, not cherry picking a gamboa or the like
Ortiz vs Bohachuk is a great fight. Be a good test for Ortiz but he should win it if he's healthy.
Ridiculous why Tim isn't doing the rematch with Fundora I don't know. Hoping Spence wins then he gets that money fight.
