But the commentors are talking like Fury is a young OLDH and Mak a russian cab driver.
Mak would need a custom made Lada for him to drive a hack and don't stiff him on a fare unless you can box like Fury can...
Ever since Ruiz finished AJ, AJ is finished as a boxer. He lost to all the real top contenders after that and lastly, it was Dubois that tore his *ss. The guy needed 6 rounds to knock out Paul and now he calls Fury a "cloud chaser" and claims he defines the rules? This is a heavily promoted bum, whose last excuse for not facing Tyson was "a contract in a wrong format".
I can understand both wanting the best moment, each one for himself, some 6-7 years ago, but doing so now... And by the way, AJ never faced Wilder - not when Wilder was at the peak of his devastating one trick, not even now.
Joshua is a different man than the one he was before losing his 'left and right' in Nigeria.
He can have all the riches, but is now missing the 2 people he would most liked to have shared the experiences those riches could buy...forever!
As far as Fury goes, AJ holds all the cards and all the clout. He's right in that Fury needs to chase him for it. Clowning, begging and insulting AJ won't get him the fight.
Even Fast Eddie and the Camel Racer have no clout with AJ. I get the feeling AJ is one press release away from stepping away from the game for good.
No....hes doing it for money because him and his family have no control over spending. Agreed there is ego but i think AJs recent experiences have humbled him somewhat. He seems much more measured in his responses as opposed to his previous ramblings where he seemed to speak for the sake of using words. Mike Tyson was once rich beyond my dreams but recently had to sell his soul and legacy for 20 million to try to keep himself afloat. Having money and keeping it are 2 different things.
I can't imagine Tyson having issues with money tbh. He could have a million kids.
He lives in Moracambe for a start. He could buy his house a million times over. And culturally it isn't a good look for gypsies to waste money.
His Wife is also pretty sensible. I don't know them directly but the feeling is that they are pretty normal from people that do. The netflix bit is obviously a bit for effect.

The call out afterwards was funny. Credit to Joshua, he has obviously been practicing for having to go face to face with Fury. Thought he did well until pressed by the interviewer about whether it was 'a yes' or not and he then reverted to 'when I'm ready.'
Fury is ready to commit. Joshua isn't yet. Hopefully this one happens before one of them dies of old age.
Fury and Joshua fighting each other is about egos. They are both rich beyond ours and their wildest dreams. Do you think Fury is doing the Nexflix TV show for free?

I think AJ's ego died on a Nigerian highway. It's strictly business now...
...and i would hope he's channeling his profits and riches toward higher causes than clout chasing.
The world will be a better place if Fury never stepped into a ring again.
Honestly, Tyson Fury is the saddest, most pathetic creature getting round today, but the orange reality tv show host will go back to owning that title tomorrow...
The world will be a better place once he's moved on too!
Fury is keen to get that final retirement pay. Joshua doesnt need the fight. He has cash and sponsorship and nowhere near the financial liability that is Paris and those seven kids.

It was a combination of that and "when Fury's ready".
We will know that what Fury says and what he does are different things. That's was a classic Fury move - make the fight now, I'm ready, sign the contract etc. It's much easier to say those things in public than to actually make the fight around a table.
Joshua and Hearn made it very clear a few years ago that they're not entertaining any public fight offers or fake deadlines anymore. They'll talk around a table.
Turki's involvement was a bit weird though. Clearly the fight isn't even close to made.
Obviously with Turkis shout out to his "brothers" at TKO his involvement is to make the WWE style setup for the fight. Its the only reason he would call out his good friend Eddie. Unfortunately he doesnt have fluent enough english to be able to pull off the acting convincingly enough.

Yep...Hearn can't commit because AJ is in 2 minds about ever stepping in the ring and throwing with bad intentions again.
Sad Fury needs the fame to feel relevant. AJ was so on point calling him a Clout Chaser!
Fury honouring Hatton is a reminder of the future he's gonna face very soon. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't go out the same way...
Fury and Joshua both damaged goods.
Fury sounds keener than Joshua does.
Get it done.

not very impressive stuff from benn or fury. especially fury. 16 months out of the ring is pretty standard in this age of boxing. let's not pretend you're sugar ray leonard getting back into the ring with hagler after 3 years.
Joshua has been practicing his bravado but quickly resorted to 'wnen l'm ready' when pressed.

AJ still carries the scars of his best buds passing and is not wearing them well.
I totally believe the guy's mind ain't right for the fight game anymore. The money game sure but we'll see...
Somehow Arslan got to hear the final bell.
Fury threw the rust off slowly. Improved as it went on.
Fury was trash he couldnt make a dent in a walking punch bag
Joshua obliterates Fury
