Bit late to respond...
You'd have to admit it showed us a bit about Parker's level?
He just falls that bit short. He's very good in every category but just doesn't have anything exceptional.
Against anyone with any particular exceptional attribute, he falls short.
I hope he gets a title shot at some point and I still think, as I have done since the Joshua fight, that he's good enough to pick up a title if things fall right for him.
Indeed...Team Parker owned the loss. Fabio was too good on the night.
Run it back and see if it turns out differently, but the potential for it to ruin both - in the same way Fury and Wilder were never the same - is high.
Still it'd be a huge money, stadium fight in the U.K with a trilogy in the making if Parker won the rematch.
It told us once again that Parker will never get a decent suck of the ol sav in jolly ol Blighty...
...and that Wardley is legit!

I thought it was a terrible stoppage. But the fight had already told us something.

Parker is as good a fighter right now as he was before the fight. And I don't buy the idea that he's a better fighter now than when he was a titleist.
I always felt he was good enough to come again and win a title. But he was never what he got billed as after beating Wilder, Zhang and Bakole. Those three are completely uninspiring wins.
I actually think Justis Huni should be considered pretty highly after that. He didn't just outpoint Wardley - he embarrassed him and walked onto a Hail Mary.
Huni was outboxing wardley`s ears off.
Yes, we can say wardley improved since than, but this fact aged well.
I am apoplectic with rage !!!
Wardley was pitty patting and Parker was rope a doping a little.
Soooo totally unfair!!!

I don't know about early he was badly hurt multiple times and had plenty of opportunity to either hold or throw back, he only has himself to blame.
When you're out on your feet getting beaten all around the ring and the other guys throwing bombs nonstop with many getting through you need to show something either grab or throw back. You can not let a massive puncher unload vicious assaults continually like that and just go into a shell and not expect the ref to jump in.
Delighted for WARRRdley, amazing story, super nice bloke and must watch TV.
Also happy Ordinary Joe lost tbh he's always been overrated to ****, 2nd best HW in the world my a$$!
I thought the gameplan was dumb also from Parker coming in so heavy and trading so much. You do not trade with this guy he hits too hard and thrives in chaos. If it turns sloppy or you exchange with him you're really asking for trouble. He's like a wounded animal when hurt or in a vulnerable position against the ropes, its like when you trap a cat in a corner it's going to panic and claw you to ****. He doesn't have much but he's tough, has gigantic boll0cks and a hell of a punch on him and that's all you need in this garbage division. I keep saying it he'll beat many guys more skilled, experience and supposedly better than him on his power and gigantic balls alone. Sometimes you only need to do one or two things well.
His power, toughness, heart and willingness to let his hands go even when he looks like he is running on empty is a very dangerous combination.
Well said!
Parkers thoughts on the stairs will be dark but he did what he did no one forced him.
He'll own it and pay full respect to Wardley.

Nah. I think Wardley stops Dubois. Dubois is worse than Parker.
Tougher fight than Parker that would be a great shootout
I'd give Dubois a good chance
Dubois has a better powerful jab and better accuracy than Joe and Wardly
But he has less heart and chin but he definetly has a great chance to beat Wardly
Parker should have taken a knee, or clinched; ahead 6-4 by my scoring. That and a hasty ref cost him.
Wardley is also a little better than we thought, but he doesn't stand a chance against Usyk. But he's gotten THIS far, so who freaking knows?
Wardley keeps throwing even when he's losing momentum; that's what makes him dangerous. However, Usyk is going to have Wardley second-guessing himself, and he doesn't want to get into a chess match with Usyk. Wardley has a puncher's chance, but that's typically not enough to beat someone of Usyk's caliber. Wardley beating Usyk would definitely be upset of the year.
]Can we all agree that Dubois makes raw meat out of Wardley ?...
Let's just start there in your Best Thing since sliced bread semantic UK folks...
No. Dubios is a good fighter with no mental punch resistance. He can physically take a punch...but his brain shuts once he gets hit clean. I don't think hes a quitter like some say....i just think hes a big dumb baby.

he wasnt that hurt why would he deduct a point from himself? should he have factored in boxing corruption, incompetence, and favoritism into his fight strategy? probably.
he has a good chance. we just saw why. they will be looking for any way to give him the fight, theres too much at stake not to cheat usyk

Hes got killer instinct. Intelligence says Usyk is a mile too smart.... but as we know...if Wardley gets one shot in....he doesnt admire his work...he comes for you.
