Since Crawford defeated Canelo I see all these cries for who Crawford should fight next. What's surprising is that most of these names never were being called out for Canelo to fight even though he had the same belts that Crawford has now. Why does Crawford have to fight guys that were never on Canelo's radar? Why is there a strong desire now all of a sudden for a fighting champion? All of a sudden Benavidez deserves a title shot?

Benavides is the style and size that can beat Crawford but he doesn't need that fight. The MW option is more appealing.

I think some people aren’t hating. They want to see Crawford climb another rung of the ATG ladder. That is ok. Yes the Canelo diehards are hating and in their feelings. They were sure Canelo was going to win because he had all the advantages. Tough pill for them to swallow. So now they are desperate to see him lose like Manny fans are a Floyd. What can you do but laugh.
