I don't normally vote for stoppages but there will be some shots with ill intentions traded in this fight and Canelo is there to be hit, though he has a chin.
I bet differently than I voted, but I still put some money on Crawford because the odds were too good to pass up.
bud gona wrestle canelo?
Did you see how Crawford controlled Spence when they got in close, leading him around by the head and neck? Crawford is going to do that to Canelo. As the fight goes on, he’s going to use his strength and leverage to frustrate him and create openings. That’s when he’s not shooting him with hard jobs from outside in the southpaw stance.
Bud is better pound for pound but weight classes exist for a reason. He’s jumping up to 168 tonight, completely skipping 160. He only fought once at 154 and didn’t look good. All his highlights are from 147 and 140.
Canelo been at this weight for 7 years.
Canelo is clearly past his peak but he’s still signing multi fight deals, so he clearly don’t think he’s ready to hang them up.
I think Bud could win if he made it a stinker and stayed on the bike but he hasn’t fought like that in a long time. Plus he just weighed in at basically the limit, same as Nelo. I think he should have stayed lighter than that personally. Think he will be slower than we are used to seeing him and easier to hit tonight.
I could still see him doing it though. He’s definitely one of the best fighters of the last 20 years and a win tonight would make him probably top 10 ever. I kind of think if he does win it will be a schooling. That would probably mean I’m wrong about him keeping his same speed at this weight or Nelo is wrong and he’s closer to being done than he thought. Can’t see Bud stopping him though so an actual KO out of the question unless Nelo’s corner stops it because there’s a complete speed difference. But I think Nelo can eat his punches without going down.
I don’t think Nelo stops him either though. If he does it will be a straight right which Nelo don’t throw as often as he used to. He seems to like hooking more in recent years.
Nelo by decision. Hope an earned one and not by screwing Crawford.

if canelo does somehow lose to bud he will have to have a new raft of excuses handy, after bivol it was no i actually won the fight, when everyone but his moma pointed out he lost he changed tack and blamed his sore handies for his loss
if he loses to bud forget vive mexico it will be more like a grovelling sorry mexico instead
Canelo definitely has the edge in power, durability, stamina, and has a better chin. .
buds stamina seems very good, people who think bud will win think he will out stamina canelo at the end and put him under pressure as a result
Pretty close poll. 16-9 in favor of Canelo. I voted for Crawford due to the fact that his movement, speed, and foot work seem superior to Canelo's (albeit slightly). Canelo definitely has the edge in power, durability, stamina, and has a better chin. But like I said in my previous post, its going depend how well Bud adjust to his new weight. Because if it slows him down then Alvarez will land some hard body shots, slowly break him down, and eventually land a KO in the 9th or 10th round.
Crawford by decision
And don't be surprised if he hurts Canelo at some point, yes I'm serious.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if Bud catches him coming in or walks him onto the uppercut and visibly hurts him and stings him far more than bigger guys and punchers have.
That’s a tough call. Canelo has the size and power advantage, but Crawford’s timing and adaptability are on another level. If it goes the distance, I think Crawford edges it. If Canelo can cut off the ring early, he might take it. I’ll be catching updates on fox nation either way.
Canelo appears to be in top form. .
yeah but look who hes been fighting for years, a very average bunch at best, thats not a test of where his form is at
