Why is boxing culture attacking Keyshawn for losing his belt on the scale? David Benavidez was praised for coming in 3lbs over the scale and losing his belt, but nobody criticized his win nor was the fight cancelled. Scott Quigg came in 3lbs over the limit for Oscar Valdez.
I think we are being over critical towards Keyshawn Davis. Let’s not bring up a safety issues nor be hypocrites
no he doesnt cut a lot lol
bivol is known for not cutting a lot, u got it backwards
did u not see his fight night weight of 180 from 175 weigh in?? that indicates he not a big cutter of water, he has said that himself and was willing to go to 168 to fight canelo, if he was what u for some reason keep saying he is that would not be possible
everybody at LHW would go to 168 for Canelo. Money talks. Canelo went to 152 for Floyd biggest it was a great payday for the Mexican and they shared PPV with the main lion's share going to Floyd of course. Bivol making 168 would be the same thing as Canelo making 152 for Floyd. Drained.
And just because he beat Kovalev. A guy already a shadow of himself, alcoholic and coming from a grueling fight, and full camp with no time to rest. He was not small for the division then
Funny thing though, even with the calculated management by Canelo, I have Kovalev ahead in the scorecards prior getting KOed, with Sergey's consistent jabs pushing Alvarez in the backfoot and gradually upping the activity prior to getting knockout in the championship rounds.
It wasn't because Canelo had worn him out through his activity either like when Chavez Sr was getting initially outworked by Taylor, yet his effective steady work had taken a toll on the Olympic medalist, Kovalev was gassed yet mostly unharmed despite the power punches that landed before and then he got timed, his reflexes unable to react on time.
Quite funny when Canelo was expressing interest in fighting Usyk.
Bivol brought Canelo back to reality.
This is an exaggeration. Bivol wouldve beaten Badou Jack or Makabu at Cruiser even when Reynoso had mentioned it. Fans cried that Makabu was a Cherry Pick and fans laughed when Badou Jack disclosed that Canelo wanted a rehydration clause for a Cruiser fight. The point is money talks and lots of fighters will bend a knee like a taking a count. At least the Mexican made it known that he wanted to go up to Cruiser. Didn't Thomas Hearns hit Cruiser as well? We know James Toney and Roy went even further. And Bivol is expected to go to Cruiser anyways. He will outpoint Zurdo again. Most fans don't realize that Bivol cuts a lot to be at LHW, but in some off season vids Bivol is HUGE and 200lbs. Check out his mountain training vids. He way bigger than his LHW physique.
You got that wrong, the "beast before bivol", said and I'm quote "I'll never fight another mexican", this when he arrived at the 168 division, who was at the top then? David Benavidez, and he wasn't even mexican, once he lost the belt ginger set his sight on unifying the division, then he lost his balls. He could have fought Benavidez and didn't, then when asked why his excuse was, he's too big, I want 200m, and to add insult to injury, he fought a real Mexican. There's no excuse.
There were already reports, articles of Canelo saying he wasn't going to fight another Mexican after Julio Cesar Chavez fallout. It was even rumoured in the dark streets by DLH that Canelo's family and acquaintances had death threats. Chavez Sr. knew cartels before hand, particular the Sinaloa cartel (which is where he is from) and it is said he knew El Chapo. In fact Mexican reporters were asking Chavez about Chapo when he got captured and he declined to comment. So as you know, eventually Canelo's brother was kidnapped for ransom during the Fielding week fight and Canelo had to do a settlement behind the scenes for his brother's release. In that particular week Canelo wasn't even happy all fight week for good reason nor did he care about the Fielding aftermath. he just had a stone cold face. And regarding the mocker of 200m. Crawford is said to get 75mil for Canelo and Canelo will be getting 150m for Crawford. That is exactly what Canelo released to the press in a joking matter. A year later he joins forces with Turki and fights a 4 fight deal. Mannix disclosed that Canelo got about 80mil for Scull. The money is real. Canelo easily get another 150mil payday for Benavidez AT LEAST.
Mind showing where people actually "praised" Benavidez for coming in overweight? You're definitely full of **** on that. Keyshawn was the champion too, Quigg wasn't. Keyshawn is getting flack for it and rightfully so.
So if a Champion or non Champion comes in 3lbs over (such as Benavidez vs Angulo) that's not ''cheating?'' Didn't Shakur or Tank do this too? lose belts coming in over the scale. It seems like boxing fans crying about catchweights don't mean fighers weighing more than their opponent on the scale. In theory a catchweight (and if made) is originally agreed upon. weighing more than your opponent isn't ideally agreed upon before hand. lol
fans will eventually learn the hard way that they don't understand what ''cheating'' is.
Bullchit post from a Canelo ball snuggler who went out of his way to make an alt account to chit in another fighter
Maybe it’s that kunt T-Kitty who’s a closet fan of Canelo

Bivol didn’t beat the crap out of Canelo, but what he did do was show Canelo that he had nothin for Bivol and completely neutralized him. Beterbiev would’ve knocked Canelo out
nah he beat the crap out of him and looked like he was about to stop him at points, if he put the gas on it he could have gotten the stoppage

Benny was thrashed for losing his belt on the scales
Not sure wtf you talking about and by the way I ain’t no Benny fan
Canelo before the Bivol fight and Canelo after the Bivol fight were two different beasts.
If Benavidez didn't get stripped twice for being a fat cokehead the Canelo fight would've happened. After Bivol beat the dog crap out of him Canelo became risk averse.

was benny not mando for canelo for years and the wbc wouldnt make it, benny could not have waited longer and for that fight & as soon as u could sneeze the wbc call the mando on bivol when he wants the trilogy fight with beter lol, total farce
Canelo had no incentive to take the risk after he already had the WBC belt. Canelo wanted to be undisputed and he accomplished that, then he got a dose of reality against Bivol, and now he's just cashing checks until he retires.
But if he'd had to actually go through Benavidez to become undisputed I fully believe he'd have taken the fight. I think becoming undisputed was his Super Bowl, so to speak, and now he's just running out the clock.
canelo was set on not fighting Benavidez, he could have hold all the belts and ginger would have created his own organization. Stop the bull that it is Benavidez fault, canelo is terrified of David.

People WERE taking shots at Benavidez for losing his belt twice due to coke and due to missing weight.
Canelo has been ducking him for sure, but Canelo wouldn't have been able to duck him and still be undisputed if Benavidez had just held onto that WBC belt. He had two chances and he fumbled them both and that's why he never got the Canelo payday. After he lost the belt he had no leverage and Canelo wasn't gonna take the risk.
So Benavidez inarguably set his career back significantly with his immature shenanigans.
Davis did the same, except he also attacked his brother's opponent in his dressing room after the fight. That's completely unacceptable.

I forgot about the Albright incident because I felt that too was exaggerated and a smear campaign. I couldn’t find any video source of actual blows. Just a hallway altercation crowded by instigators
