So yeah.
Ahkmadaliev is going to beat the absolute **** out of Inoue.
I pray enough casuals actually believes that to make the odds more tasty next match.
Now the Inoue train moves on to MJ. What I love about Inoue is that you almost always know the next opponent. That, plus his yearly activity, gives him the best case for P4P #1.
After two shitty nights of boxing, Inoue delivers when we needed him most. Same with Espinoza and the rest of fighters in undercard who build up the main event.
Bad stoppage to a great fight
True, but if Inoue moves up, Cardenas isn't damaged goods at least. Instead of eventually being bodied, he moves on with mad props and can remember to move in those situations so a similat stoppage doesnt happen.
Respect to both guys tonight.
Great fight :boxing:
Bit of a quick stop. Not a horrible stop, but I think Cardenas earned the right to go a little longer.
For sure was the only big fight that delivered this weekend. Thanks for that Inoue/Cardenas
Cardenas gave a big contribution to Inoue saving the weekend.
Also a solid card overall.
Without a doubt. It took two to tango, but when we're talking all the biggest names in the sport. You had Haney, Garcia, Lopez, and Canelo all on the same weekend. The biggest name that rose to the occasion with star power was Inoue. Dude didn't give a f**k. Went in banging with another banger and produced a war. I can start my work week a bit better now knowing someone in boxing still has some balls left.
I've been half asleep since before Friday, hoping the weekend fights would wake me up and get me hyped...It was this very last fight that finally woke me up! This fight kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.
Joel Diaz told Cardenas, he would give him 1 more round to show something before stopping it.
Cardenas didn't show anything, and he got knocked down.
Diaz would've stopped it anyways. But man, what a chin on Ramon.
Let the warrior have a chance to turn it around, he deserved that much after the heart and grit he showed.
Anyway, thanks to both guys for putting on a good fight.
I thought Cardenas had fight left in him, and clearly still had the puncher's chance, but he did look to be on the way out, and I think Joel would have thrown in the towel anyways. He's clearly the sort to go out on his shield. What a warrior. He's a credit to San Antonio, along with Bam Rodriguez, and Mario Barrios.
