Now check SRL from 79 to 81, Benitez, Duran twice, Kalule and Tommy Hearns, in the span of five years he already has fought three hall of fames in their prime. Actually, it would have made a difference. Alvarez fought very flat-footed at whatever weight he rehydrated to (165, 170?). At 200 lbs, he would have fought like his feet were in cement. I don't know if it will or not but it will definitely put him in the conversation. I don't know. You got guys like Henry Armstrong, Willie Pep and Roberto Duran all with better resume's than Bud. However, Crawford would be a three time undisputed champion in three separate weight divisions in the four belt era. One can easily make a compelling case either way. It would be close but I say no cigar. Those earlier guys I mentioned have close to two hundred fights or more on their records.
