I'm curious to hear your answers... I would say Tito vs Vargas was a tad bit too much in violent history, a fight of fistic fury of epic proportions. Also the Deontay wilder ko of Dominic brazeale, he did not have to hit in THAT hard lol, I'm not complaining though it was a brutal/ nice kayo!
In second place, maybe the Tyson vs Lewis fight was also not for the light hearted. Lennox darn near almost murked him and cut him with vicious lacerations above the eyes.
I can't wait to hear your answers from the years past! Go! I mean not just boxing, straight up wars!!!
Arturo Gatti vs Joey Gamache.
Weight bullying at its finest, that was almost an attempted murder of poor Gamache (who, in fact, got damaged and took legal action afterwards).
Came here to say this. That knockout immediately popped in my mind.

The Nigel G Man fight was not necessarily violent. Yup, it def had moments. I just don't recall it being prolonged.
The Perez Mag fight was back n forth for a good portion. Both landed "hellacious" shots
The fighter will always want a fight to go on and those on the team who end them will usually suffer off camera.
You're right about Benn/McClellan, the way I remembered it and the way it looked as I just now rewatched it don't jibe. McClellan was fighting hard right up untill he took a knee in the 9th. The headbutt in the 8th was a factor but Benn consistantly hammerin away at the back of McClellan's head was finally just too much and the reason for why the fight ended as it did, imo.
Maybe not necessarily too violent but somewhat relatable and recent was Tsyzu vs Fundora.
Don’t see too many modern fights that are that bloody. I thought it was bada5s but I was surprised it wasn’t being stopped as it was happening
Guillermo Jones vs Denis Lebedev
A roided up Jones who was walking through everything Lebedev (a big puncher) hit him with like he was superhuman and put on a frightening beating leaving Lebedevs face disfigured & looking like ET
.
Who won ?
The fact Lebedev fought this freak and like that for a good 6 rounds with his face totally destroyed beyond recognition, unable to see out of one eye, exhausted yet still giving it everything, what a tough, tough sob that guy was.
The ref, Lebedevs team, the ringside Dr and of course Jones are all seriously wrong for that.

It went from admiration of Jones chin to being so painful to watch. It should have been stopped about 5 rounds prior.
That was one fight I felt almost sick watching.
That fight is a perfect example of why steroids in boxing should not be normalised.
This guy inactive, aged 41 suddenly looking like George Foreman crossed with Michael Myers. I am convinced you could have put a full clip in him that night and he'd have just still kept coming like nothing had happened.
Some guys do not really respond much from steroids, others turn practically turn superhuman which is why I also don't agree on just letting them all take substances.
Just brutal, I recently watched the highlights. Apparently many were peeved that Lebedev hit Jones when he was down, implying the Jones fight was karma, idk, I wouldn't wish that on any fighter

Nigel Benn vs. Gerald McClellan
Mike Perez vs Magomed Abdusalamov
These are the two that come to mind and I blame those men's corners for letting the violence go on too long.

Reminds me of Margarito vs Pacquiao... What was his corner thinking while that eye was being bludgeoned to a pulp? In tonys defense he would die in the ring if he had to, but ultimately his corner did not protect him, just look at Tony vs cotto 2, gruesome unfortunate haunting damage that lingered from the PAC fight,

My bad, read that saying "Non" violent :439:
Corrales vs JLC 1 stands alone
Foreman vs Lyle was humorously violent
Jackson vs Castro (<------was a bloody mess)
Gatti Ward 1
I'm sure there are a bunch of fights from the B & W era that were substantially violent.
The Quick and The Violent....Tyson vs Marvis, Cooney vs Norton
