One minute Artur and his whole team are standing dejected in the corner looking like anything but winners in the aftermath of the fight, then moments later the camera cuts to him embracing a jubilant Ramzan Kadyrov (who seems to know something we all don't) and Artur's body language has in a matter of seconds done a total 180 degrees shift as he stands there as happy as can be, almost celebratory in tone.
Right there I knew the fix was in, though I did still feel that horrible pang of disgust (familiar to any long-term fans of this beautiful sport) as the result was read out all the same. I'm a big fan of Beterbiev but he did not deserve that win. He knew it, his team knew it, everybody in and around that ring knew it. It was palpable in the air.
Beterbiev spent the bulk of the fight hitting only arms and gloves. Nearly all of the clean, effective punches were landed by Bivol and the only fighter who ever looked visibly hurt or stunned was Beterbiev, several times. Yes, Beterbiev's presence was strong all night and he often out-muscled and clubbed Bivol off balance when he got in close, and yes, Bivol didn't let his hands go enough in some rounds (though even then he usually landed the best few shots of the round), but ultimately Bivol's superior skills won the fight.
Unless, of course, your Chechen and Muslim brother Ramzan Kadyrov, International Warlord™, is personally on hand to ensure the judges crown the right winner, that is. Alhamdulillah.
I think I recall what you're on about, but if so that seemed more like an honest slip of the tongue to me.
Wasn't it something like: "And will be next in line to fight Haney-- oops, I mean they'll be next in line to fight the winner of this one between Haney and Loma."
Something like that? I just took that as Haney being the favourite to win and Osuna got ahead of himself and misspoke. It was live, it happens. If there's more to it though I'm all ears.
Nope. He asked Muratalla what he wanted next, and Muratalla said he wanted the winner of the main event. Osuna replied with "even though there's a Shakur Stevenson out there, a Tank Davis out there, you think you deserve Devin Haney?" He was given "the winner" and said "Haney".

You can listen yourself. This is an interview of an undercard fighter prior to the main event. You might recall also that the narrative they were running all week was that the younger, bigger fighter almost always wins vs the aging lion, and "does Loma have one more great performance to give".
That's a much more damaging look behind the curtain IMO than something happening after the fight when someone may have gotten a look at the judges cards but prior to the announcement.
I found it far more su****ious that Bernard Osuna knew Haney was the winner vs Loma before that fight happened, but nobody seemed to bat an eye about that. This is trivial in comparison.

Knowing Kadyrov and him being in Beterbievs corner, If any of the judges care about the wellbeing of their families, it might alter their decision how to score. They also might have just gotten a little "motivational boost" beforehand.
Theyre in saudi arabia and the judges are flying back to their home countries not russia

Sometimes the decision gets known before it's announced, that's probably what happened.
It's exactly what happened.
Hearn said in his post fight complaints that they were told that Beterbiev had won.

That judge was a Polish fruit from Europe
Neither Akhmat Sila nor Poohten have any jurisdiction over him
if anything the Pole was bribed rather than blackmailed
There was a fight at ringside.
and lmfao @ "The only fighter who was visibly hurt or stunned was Beterbiev"
